The spotlight is on for Jolanda Goes

My name is Jolanda Goes and I have been together with Ed since 21 years. We have an 11 year old daughter named Jacky and our family is completed with a cat called Binkie and a parakeet called Calimero.
 
The first time I came across “something called scrapbooking” was in 2005, when a colleague of mine organised a workshop harmonica-minialbum. I liked that so much that I decided to make these as a thank you gift for the guests at our 12,5 th wedding anniversary. A few months and about 30 pieces later I wanted to do something else for a change and after searching the www for ideas my first layout was born.
 
I don’t think I have found my own style yet, usually I let the photo or the paper decide where they will take me – as a matter of speaking. Therefore my work varies between really basic to really full, like the one below where I was transferred into an Indonesian “princess”  for my aunt and uncle’s wedding in Indonesia. I thought the Botanica Bella line was perfect to match this situation!
 
Thank you for this opportunity to show my work here. I am really, really honoured to be in this weeks spotlight!
