The spotlight is on for Linda Cain!
I started out as a watercolor artist and fell in love with scrapbooking and paper arts about 9 years ago. It all started with a scrapbook party, and then a stamping party, to get me hooked. My scrapbook adventures brought out old pictures from my great- grandparents that I wanted to keep for my children. But at the time, papers were too “cute” for vintage images in my opinion. Now, with the lines of Graphic 45, there are some truly wonderful papers to capture this era. I love to add papers to anything. Really. Books, boxes, pencil holders, chipboard, frames, necklaces…nothing is sacred.
I have stamps that have never touched ink, but I love them dearly, ink pads and collections of papers with drawers of collected ephemera that I have hopes of using when the timing is just right. Most everything I touch has to be Distress Inked for the vintage look. Edges of white paper are unacceptable here!!! Glue should NEVER be seen. Layers are what create interest in projects and keeps you looking around the item. These may not be funny things…but that’s who I am. If I get paint on a shirt, it becomes a flower or swirl at some point, because it looks better that way. I MUST create art or I feel unfulfilled as a person….almost daily.

Thank you Graphic 45 for such wonderfully beautiful papers!!

Linda Cain

I have to say, you could not have found a better artist to show how beautifully your products can be used. I have fallen in love with your papers because of Linda and how she presented them on her blog. Her work is "top shelf", so beautifully executed and designed. Her work stands out far and above the rest. I am so happy to see you feature her and her talents.
I do love your papers and can't get enough!
