Just because your paper is a certain color, doesn't mean your lo has to just those colors. I adore how Jeni, one of our design team members, added hot pink to her lo. She made her Graphic 45 papers work magically with her lo. Here is what Jeni had to say:
Using Bright Colors with Renaissance
Faire
I Love adding a Pop of Bright Color to the Gorgeous
Renaissance Faire Collection! Simply choose a couple of your favorite
Papers from that line and grab a brightly colored photo. All you have
to do to tie them together is add a piece of cardstock or tissue paper of that
same color from your photo!
For my layout I used Romantique # 4500112, Tudor
Rose (my fav) # 4500114, and 2 sheets of Masterpiece #4500113
I used Romantique as my 12x12 Base, then added some
bright pink tissue paper (to coordinate with my bright photo). I cut the
Tudor Rose paper into 4 squares that are 4.5 x 4.5 , sanded the edges for a pop
of white, and then adhered them to my layout using Zip Dry from Beacon
Adhesives. Using a liquid adhesive allowed the adhesive to soak
through the tissue paper giving it a very firm hold. Next I adhered the photo to
the center of the page and added the two accents that I cut out from the 2
sheets of Materpiece paper. I added a touch of Shimmerz Pint to them for
some added fun, and finished it off with journaling and ribbon and assorted
Prima Leaves.
I love the unexpected look and feel this pop of
color gives to the very beautiful and romantic Renaissance Faire
Collection.

There you go!! The next time you look at your Graphic 45 papers, look at them in a new light. There are so many different colored sheets in a pack, lending to several ways to use them. Remember adding "other" colored embellishments can totally make a lo pull together. Thanks Jeni for the awesome inspiration!
wow, this is just amazing!

I am not a scrapbooker, but this is a beautiful layout! I have several of the Renaissance papers, but I have not done anything with them yet. WHY? Because they are just too beautiful to cut up! I love Renaissance Art (Art History in college) and these papers are just so gorgeous. So all I do right now is take them out and look at them. I'm waiting for inspiration to hit!
