Our January "Featured Artist" is Melanie Forbes

Every month we randomly go the gallery at the Graphic 45 Ning Site in search of artists that capture our eye.  Keep in mind, this is different from our Guest Designer contest.  This could be "anyone" who has artwork in our gallery.

This month, after looking through the gallery my eyes landed on the beautiful work of Melanie Forbes!  Interestingly enough Melanie was just featured in an article about "Whos Who in Scrapbooking" for the Australian magazine Scrapbook Creations.  Here are a couple of pages from that article telling us a little bit about Melanie and showing off some of her amazing work:

Here are some other examples of Melanie's work.  Take a look at the close-up of that house in the shadow box - wow!

This week I' ll be showing some more work of Melanie's as well as work of Mandy Harrell, who is our Guest Designer this month.  You will also be seeing more work  from our design team using Couture Cardstock .    We are still having that relay with them, so stay tuned!

Until then...happy scrapping,

Susan
