Christie Bryant Strikes Again. Plus a Special Surprise!
Greetings all! Christie Bryant one of our fabulous design team members strikes again, this time with two great card ideas. With card season upon us, (Mother's Day, Graduation, Father's Day, Weddings, and Birthdays) I thought it was perfect time for some inspiration.
Here is what Christie has to say: "Sometimes thoughtful, handmade cards can come together really fast. I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist & Glimmer Screens along with Graphic 45 Times Nouveau paper to put this card together in less than five minutes (one of my fastest projects yet). I was happy with how quick and easy it was to use the Glimmer Mist Products, they're a perfect addition to any Graphic 45 project."
Products used to make this card:
- Ivory cardstock
- Ivory Ribbon
- Graphic 45- Times Nouveau "Sitting Pretty"
- Tattered Angels- Glimmer Screens "Timeless Romance"
- Tattered Angels- Glimmer Mist "Burnt Red"
- Chalk
"It is easy to throw a pretty card together in no time, especially when you use Graphic 45 paper. One of my favorite lines is the Times Nouveau, I tend to use it a lot for cards because it's so versatile.
Recently I challenged myself to use leftover scraps of paper and embellishments sitting on my desk after putting a project together.
Using my leftover Graphic 45 paper and my new TOMBOW products, I came up with this little ditty."
Products used to make this card:
- Ivory cardstock
- Black cardstock
- Graphic 45 - Times Nouveau "Wallflower"
- Graphic 45 - Times Nouveau "Lollapalooza"
- Graphic 45 - Times Nouveau "Hey You"
- Graphic 45 - Times Nouveau "Hot Tomato"
- Graphic 45 - Times Nouveau "Die Cut Alphabet"
- Misc Embellishments including: Key, Jewelry Tag, Safety Pin, and Lace
- TOMBOW Mono Adhesive Permanent Roller
- TOMBOW Dual Brush Pens
How about a G45 Giveaway??
So speaking of using up those scraps and miscellaneous things lying around... it is time for a giveaway!!! We will be giving away a miscellaneous bundle of Graphic 45 paper, so be sure to leave a comment and you will be entered for the drawing this Thursday morning!

I see that Christie believes in using every little piece of paper. But when you work with super paper like Graphic 45, it would be a crime not to use all of it! I really love the cards that Christie came up with. Very hard to believe she made them up so quickly, they look so detailed. Just awesome!

Both cards are stunning! I will now be inspired to use my scraps today, and see what I can make with them. Such a Scrapbooker thing...to use every beautiful piece of paper and make it into a beautiful piece of art. In this case, a card for a friend. They will never know you used scraps, of course. Thanks for the inspiration to all of us!
