Day 5: Layouts, Reminders and Videos...OH MY!

First a bit of a reminder...with all the Tombow Love going around we didnt want you to forget about the  Renaissance Faire May Madness Contest!

Who is up for a Graphic 45 contest?  We are looking for creative projects using papers from our Renaissance Faire collection, anything from an altered art piece to a layout, and everything in between.

Please post your project to our Graphic 45 - Unique Papercrafting FAN CLUB Facebook page.

**To qualify you must reference "Renaissance Faire May Madness Contest" by May 31st.

Two winners will be selected. They will receive an assortment of five paper pads!   This prize pack includes Renaissance Faire, Le' Romantique, A Proper Gentleman, On the Boardwalk, and Transatlantique —and retails for over a $100!!  Winners will be announced Wednesday, June 2nd.

Here is a wonderful layout that our design team member, Christie Bryant shared with us.

On to a beautiful layout by Tracey Locher, the vibrant colors really mix well with the sepia of the background paper.  Lovin all the flowers...now that takes a lot of adhesive!

I love to pull colors and details out of my pictures and use them to help design my layouts.  For this layout, the rich teal in Sarah’s shirt made for a perfect accent color and the sparkle headbands Catalina and Anna are wearing just POPPED off the page when I added small rhinestones to the felt flower boarder and as well as white accent dots. Adhesive is also VERY important to making a layout work.  There are five layers on this layout and Tombow’s Permanent Mono Roller was the perfect tape to keep them all together.  I also used Tombow’s Mono Aqua Liquid Glue as it is one of my favorite adhesives!  The pen tip dispenser is perfect for adding a tiny dot of glue for buttons or small rhinestones.  No more blobs of glue or glue that runs on your layout.  This is one product that travels with me to every crop or class that I teach!
