Speaking of inspiration, today we are featuring the fantastic work of Tracey Locher. Tracey is one of our amazing Design Team members and she's got some stunning projects today that are sure to impress. First up is a festive holiday card that Tracey made using our Deluxe Edition Christmas Past collection. Oh, so lovely!
“Card design has always been tough for me, which is why I just love Graphic 45’s tags! The Christmas Past Tag Set is full of so many beautiful designs that would be perfect as the highlight of your Christmas cards! Simply choose your favorite tag (or tags in the case of my sample), mat it with another gorgeous Christmas Past paper, add some bling, buttons, or flowers, a bit of trim and there you have it! I used foam adhesive to help make the tags “pop” and I used a border punch to create the top and bottom of the card.” -Tracey Locher
Supplies List:
Deluxe Edition Christmas Past:
“The Holly and The Ivy,” “Glad Tidings,” “Ode to Joy,” “Tag Set”
Making Memories Crystal Brads
Open Stock trim
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Here we have an oh-so-pretty layout that Tracey created for Homecoming. There are so many sweet, delicate details to this LO! Tracey utilized out Le'Romantique collection as well as Graphic 45 Staples to create this little treasure.
“Yes, the pictures on this layout look a bit different than normal. Can you tell what I did? It is a technique that I love and I use on special layouts. I printed these photos directly onto Bazzill textured cardstock. This technique gives the photos a very mat finish and the texture of the paper makes the photos look like they are actually on canvas… the cool look of canvas at a budget price! I then matted the photos on the new Core’dinations Graphic 45 Timeless Collection Cardstock… talk about texture on texture! I sanded the cardstock which really makes it come to life! To help with the staggered layers of the photos, I backed each photo mat with chipboard, then adhered the photos with different sizes of foam adhesive. Distress… ink… Graphic 45 flowers and buttons… the green accent flowers and a few trinkets and this layout is done!” -Tracey
Supplies List:
Graphic 45 Le’ Romantique Collection – “Key to My Heart,” “Well Groomed,” “Tag Set”
Graphic 45 Staples Collection – “Flower Staples,” “Chipboard Button Staples”
Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock – Graphic 45 Timeless Collection
Bazzill Cardstock
Prima Marketing Flowers
Tim Holtz - Distress Ink and Trinket Pins
Maya Road – Trinket Pins (Crystals)
Jolee’s Boutique – Vintage Gems
K&Company – Keys Metal Art
Melissa Frances – Vintage Keyholes
Sakura – Black Glaze Pen
Open Stock ribbon
Here we have another adorablely beautiful layout by Tracey. She used our Hallowe'en In Wonderland paper as well as our Times Nouveau Alphabet paper. This is a great example of how easy it is to mix and match our papers seemlessly. Wonderful job, Tracey!
“When you have a photo that is as special and perfect to you (as this one of my puppy, Abby, is to me), you have to let it rule your layout. Use an over sized photo and limit your embellishments so that there is no doubt that your photo takes center stage. I pulled in some of my favorite “Hallowe’en in Wonderland” papers, “Times Nouveau” Die Cut Alphas, and new Core’dinations Graphic 45 Timeless Collection ColorCore Cardstock for this simple and fun layout. I also added some foam adhesive and Pop Dots to be sure the layers of this layout “popped!” -Tracey
Supplies List
Graphic 45 Hallowe’en in Wonderland Collection – “Wonderland Classifieds,” “Jabberwocky,” “Hallowe’en In Wonderland Borders”
Graphic 45 Times Nouveau – “Die Cut Alphas”
Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock – Graphic 45 Timeless Collection
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Sakura Souffle Pen
Beautiful work, Tracey! Thank you for sharing your ideas with us!

Would you believe that one of the things I am most grateful of, is Perfect Gentleman. My husband will be celebrating his 85th birthday in April. Family having huge party in June. I took Perfect Gentleman and made album for him. The paper spoke volumes about my husband. On several of the papers it was hard to use, I didn't want to cover its story. so much fun. One day I will scan his book (8X8) and add it to My page or gallery.

Love the projects today - thanks for the inspiration. Well, this year I am particularly grateful/thankful for our health. Last year, my eldest was in kindergarten and we were hit HARD by lots of sickness - he had pneumonia twice and a heap of other ailments - very scary. So far this year, we've had a few 'colds' but otherwise, we've managed to stay healthy. I am truely thankful for our health this year - without it I wouldn't be able to enjoy anything! Thanks for the chance to win!!

Tracey -
Your projects are just beautiful. What amazing pieces of art! I am most grateful for my family. In particular, I am grateful that we still have my 103 year old grandmother with us. While in the last month she is becoming more frail, she is a blessing to us. That last link to our mother.
Happy Thanksgiving to the entire Graphic 45 Team. Thank you so much for giving us a year of beautiful papers and wonderful art projects.

Gorgeous projects! They're so full of inspiration! At the moment I'm the most grateful for everyone who helped me to find myself back the last few months. I've had quite a hard time and that brought me a lot of tears...but I'm happy that there have always been my wonderful friends, teachers etc. who were always there to support me.

I am so blessed that my husband has fully recovered from his accident last winter and can hardly believe it has been almost a year since I got that horrible call at work. I am also blessed to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends and an exciting hobby that keeps me inspired through it all.

I have so much to be grateful for. In the span of one year, I woke from a 6 week coma, learned to eat again, learned to walk again, and learned to breathe on my own again. I'm so grateful for my family who held my hand, my friends who stuck by me, and most of all I'm thankful that God gave me a second chance at life!
