The Gamut of Goddess: Domestic Goddess Creations by Christie Bryant

Hello Fantastic Crafters,

We hope you all had a lovely and restful Thanksgiving holiday. I was so excited to start decorating for the holidays that I went right out and bought a Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. I went full on with the decorating and spent most of the afternoon trimming the tree, sipping hot chocolate and listening to orchestral Christmas music. I'm a firm believer that decorating and crafting go hand in hand. Both require an artistic sense of curiosity and playfulness. Both are relaxing and productive ways to spend time. And there's nothing quite like having something beautiful and unique to show for all your efforts. In my case, a beauitful Christmas tree was a reward all its own. Next step is to create some terrific craft gifts to put under the tree!

Speaking of holiday crafting project, we wanted to remind you all that there's only a couple of days left to enter our November Challenge.  We're challenging your savvy minds to create an advent calendar or a 2011 month to month calendar utilizing at least 50% Graphic 45 product. Really, that's the only rule so let your imagination run wild! The winner will be chosen at random and will be announced on Wednesday, December 1st. The prize will be a bountiful collection of Graphic 45 product, including our brand new "Once Upon a Springtime" collection 12x12 and 8x8 paper pads. That's $100 worth of beautiful Graphic 45 paper! Post your calendar on the Graphic 45 Facebook Fan Club and you'll be entered for a chance to win.

Today's craft inspiration comes to us from Christie Bryant. Christie is a member of our design team and she's got some gorgeous crafts that you're sure to love. Using our Domestic Goddess collection, Christie created a series of charming tags with beautiful textures and delicate colors. These would make perfect little gifts, or as home decor. Take a look at these stunning creations.
