Friday Prizeday: More G45 & May Arts Blog Hop and Prizes!
Hello Crafters!
Happy, happy Friday! Wow, this has been such an amazing week! We've seen so many stunning projects this week during our blog hop with May Arts. It's been so much fun and we're keeping the energy going today with our contest winner announcements and more beautiful craft inspiration. Today's featured crafts were made by Jenny Svensson and Jade Moore of our Design Team. You will love the amazingly pretty creations by these fabulous ladies. But first up, we wanted to announce the winners of this week's contests! We had our regular blog contest this week as well as a special Facebook Fan Page contest in honor of our May Arts blog hop. And don't forget to check out the May Arts blog and Facebook Page today too! They are announcing two prize winners as well. So many prizes! And the randomly chosen winner of the Graphic 45 blog contest is....Nadia! Here is what Nadia has to say on our blog this week:
"I'm so in love with the Curtain Call line. I can't wait for my LSS to bring them in. I already have some pics waiting for the Le Cirque paper to come on home. Beautiful work, Ladies! Thanks G45 for a double chance to win some yummy goodies!" -Nadia
And the winner of our Facebook Fan Page contest is...Donalda Wilsie Martin! Here is what Donalda had to say on our Facebook Fan Page this week:
"Once Upon A Springtime paper is fabulous and I would love to win this collection. Thank you so much for all the wonderful items that you make to help us achieve our scrapbooking or crafty needs."- Donalda Wilsie Martin
Congratulations Nadia and Donalda! Please email us at info@g45papers.com to claim your prize. And many thanks to everyone who left us comments this week. Remember, we have a new blog prize every week! We hope you'll continue to join us for more craft inspiration and chances to win! Yay!
Okay, lets get to the crafting! I absolutely love this first craft by Jenny Svensson. Have a look at this fabulous altered object that Jenny made with our Curtain Call collection and gorgeous May Arts ribbons. I love the shabby-chic look of this lovely craft. So unique and beautiful!
"I have made the angel wings for this little dress form out of steel wire, and then I wound one of the adorable ribbons around the wire to give it a little softer feel. I also made the big flower out of a piece of the fabulous silk ribbon. The dress form itself is covered with scraps torn from the Top Billing paper from the Curtain Call collection, and then I sanded it to give it a shabby look." -Jenny Svensson
This next phenomenal craft was made by Jade Moore. Jade has such a knack for creating lavish layers and textures in her crafts! Have a look at this marvelous frame she made by combining Once Upon a Springtime and Curtain Call. She also used our fantastic Graphic 45 Staples and pretty May Arts ribbons. The result is this super cute, and stunningly vintage treasure.
"I wanted to create a frame that I could frame a picture of my mother and I to go on my desk at work.... BUT I thought a canvas and easel would be oh so much more well... ME!! Let me tell ya the May Arts twine is fan-freaking-tastic it has metal in it so it STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT!!! LOVE IT!!" -Jade Moore
