Travelogue: Graphic 45 Goes to Framingham, MA
Hello Crafters!
Well we're back from our amazing trip to the east coast where we attended the Collins Group Event 2011 in Framingham, MA. It was a fabulous trip and we met so many terrific people. It was a great time! We thought we'd share with you some photos from our trip.
The day before the event, Aimee and Charee had the pleasure of spending the evening in Harvard Square in Boston. We had an amazing dinner at the Russel Street Tavern, and spent the rest of the night walking around admiring the historic architecture. Here is a great photo taken at sunset. You can really see the hustle and bustle of this amazing historic city.
This is the view outside of the fun castle hotel where the Collins Group event was held. What a great place to hold a crafting event! Even though it didn't have a moat or a dragon, it was still a magical castle of fun.
Last week we posted some pictures on our blog of us creating kits for our big event. Well here are the fruits of our labor. This was a 2 1/2 hour long workshop in which we created a lovely Once Upon A Springtime mini album. This was the first class created and taught by Charee. You can see all these terrific ladies are working the night away to create Charee's amazing mini album. It was a fantastic time and we were so happy to share it with so many amazing people.
Here is Charee just after we set up our mini booth for the last day of the event. Getting ready for a day of good quality bonding time with our stores.
Well, that's it for today, crafters. Thanks so much for joining us as we recap our travels. We want to thank the fabulous folks at The Collins Group for a terrific event, as well as all the terrific stores, and all the great folks who participated in our workshop, class, and make n' take. We had an amazing time!
Don't forget to post your Metal Staples crafts on our Facebook Fan Page for your chance to win our Metal Staples Challenge. We also have our blog contest going on right now. Post your thank you cards and/or friendship cards to our Facebook Fan Page for your chance to win this week's blog contest! Happy Papercrafting!

Looks like a FAB trip with lots of G45 love! Can't wait to see the new DT... I feel like that old "Mervyns" commercial with the lady waiting outside of the closed store saying, "OPEN, OPEN, OPEN!!!" This is going to be a LONG 24 hours! Good luck to the Top 25!!!

Hello Anne! It was a great time, the best time we can spend is one on one with all of our supporters. Thank you!

What a lovely place to hold an event! But I think you should consider brighter lighting for the convenience of the old ones. Yellow lights are sometimes painful to the eyes, especially when you are staying there for long hours. It will make them very uncomfortable to work.

The design team for 2011 is truly talented beyond words. Graphic 45 is my favorite!
