Kit'n & Craft'n: Behind the Scenes at Graphic 45 and LO Magic by Candy Rosenberg
Hello Crafters!
Happy day to you all! We are getting ready for a very big event tomorrow and have been kitting like crazy here at the Graphic 45 offices. We're catching a flight very early in the morning, bound for the eastern seaboard. In the mean time, we're getting lots of kits together for the amazing classes, workshop, and make n' take we're teaching for the 2011 Education & Trade Show with The Collins Group in Farmingham, MA. It is happening Friday, March 25th-Monday, March 27th. We are so very excited to be participating in this event and as you can see, we've been working like crazy to make it spectacular! Here is what is happening in our office right now! After I finish writing today's blog I'll be back to making more kits! This is the view from my desk right now! Check it out!
Even though we're swamped right now, we wanted to give you all your daily dose of craft inspiration. Today's wonderful project was created by Candy Rosenberg. She used our Once Upon A Springtime collection to create this lovely and heart-warming layout. This is such a beautiful piece of art and has such a loving message. Thank you Candy for your great heart and your amazing talent!

So lovely, and it just tears at my heartstrings as I remember my kids leaving the nest and how hard it was to let them "fly".

What a tender layout! I have sent my daughter off to college, too, and so I could totally relate! :( It is hard, but it is also wonderful to see them grow and fly. This is my favorite collection by Graphic 45. :D

Wow, what a tear jerker! These layouts are beautiful and the story warms my heart. Thank you for sharing and for the chance to win. I love G45 products and would love to get to use some myself! We don't have a LSS so I do a lot of blog drooling!

I am not a Mother, so I can only imagine how hard it is to send a child off to college. One day, you will be even more proud of her, and so glad you let her flap her wings. Beautiful layout, and the kitted diecut flowers are beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this touching LO. It has inspired me to do a "saying good-bye" LO, as well. Not that my kids are old enough to go to college yet. The oldest just started first grade! However, my youngest is turning three in a few months and is as tall as some of my daughter's preschool friends. I'm, sadly, having to say good-bye to the baby/toddler stages that I enjoyed so much with my children. My husband catches me looking at the babies at church every Sunday! LOL!
