Step Right Up: Le Cirque Crafts and Tutorial With Robin Shakoor and Jack & Cat Curio

Hello Crafters,

Welcome to a very happy day here at Graphic 45. We're so pleased that you are joining us for another fabulous day of craft inspiration. We've got two, well three fabulous and brilliant members of our Design Team, Robin Shakoor and Jack & Cat Curio,  who are going to show you some spectacular Le Cirque creations. Robin has even prepared a wonderful tutorial on how to create a beautiful card with Le Cirque! Doesn't that sound amazing? We are thrilled to showcase today's splendidly original crafts and we hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we do! So, lets get to it!

Here we have an amazing Le Cirque altered drawer. When I first saw this creation I was totally blown away. It's such a cool and clever idea! Leave it to Jack and Cat Curio (Michael Putman and Lesley Fisher) to come up with new and unique ways of creating amazing altered art! I'll never look at a thrift store dresser drawer the same way again.

"We love to alter lost and found objects of all sorts. We came across an old wooden jewelry box drawer in an old junk shop. Something damaged and forgotten can sometimes be the perfect foundation for a rich story." Jack and Car Curio

Beautiful work!

I love the le cirque paper - anything made with it is fantastic! - the drawer is amazing - thanks for posting these great creations!

Should of had a tutorial on that fabulous Drawer. It's fantastic!

Love it!!!! So pretty!!!

You would never know it was a drawer in its "former" life. What a wonderful way to repurpose an item. I love your new Magic of Oz papers. They are so cute. They would look great in a shadow box scene. You can have the sky, trees, yellow brick road, and have Dorothy and friends traveling along the road. You can show the Witch flying overhead with monkeys. A lot of fussy cutting, but it would be worth it. I cannot wait to see the other designs. Thank you and have a great day!

WOW fabulous transformation! Love the projects, thank you for the how to LO, just beautiful. TFS

That altered drawer is a great way to use reclaimed items...talk about a beautiful piece of artwork. Robin's card is also a great piece of artwork. I may have to try to replicate that look. Thanks for teaching me a new trick...separating flowers for use on a project...I never would have thought of that idea.
