"Hibiscus Heaven"

Graphic 45 Papers
Graphic 45 Chipboards: Christmas Emporium Chipboard Die-cuts 1
Graphic 45 Staples: Metal Button Staples, Trim Staples, Core'dinations SigSeries G45 12x12 Asst Pack 30/PKG*
May Arts: Ribbon
Acrylic Color, Sewing Machine
This next creation is by Nancy Wethington and we know you're going to love it! She's taken a simple wooden flower box and dressed it all up in Christmas Emporium and Christmas Past! This is a perfect example of how you can take something super simple and turn it into something gorgeous! Here is what Nancy had to say about this wonderful work of altered art!
"I found this portable wood flower box at a local craft store. It was end of the season and really cheap so it just had to come home with me. I was going to keep it until next summer until I started thinking about Christmas gifts. I remembered this little flower box and decided to alter it for Santa's letters and/or Christmas cards. Christmas Emporium and Christmas Past papers from Graphic 45 mix beautifully together. Adding the Staples Door Plate made the front of this piece look like a mailbox." -Nancy Wethington
Here's what I started with.
All wallpapered and ready to decorate.
"The stockings were hung . . . "
The finished product.
Other supplies used: Copic Markers; Stickles; miscellaneous twine; Claudine Hellmuth Matte Medium; Beacon's 3-in-1 Craft Glue; Sakura black and clear Gel Pens

Beautiful! Thanks for all the inspiration!
