Next up is another stunning card using Christmas Emporium. This Glad Tidings card was created by Nancy Wethington and is filled with lots of gorgeous layers, colors and dimensions. Bring a smile to the face of someone you love with this wonderful holiday creation! Here is what Nancy had to say about the inspiration behind this festive card!

"Christmas Emporium is one of my all-time favorite Christmas papers. This card uses several papers from the 8x8 paper pack.  The smaller scale really lends itself to card fronts.  With the help of Spellbinders dies, May Arts ribbon, Want2Scrap pearls and matching Signature Series cardstock it was easy to create a simple greeting. I cut out a phrase from Happy Holidays (Glad Tidings) to add to the Spellbinders die and made the letters sparkle with a Spica pen. All that was left was to pop up the layers." -Nancy Wethington

This next card was made by Robin Shakoor. Using a sketch that she created, Robin assembled this astonishingly beautiful card using a few simple techniques. The result is a vibrant and elegant card that brings back warm memories of a classic vintage Christmas. Here is what Robin had to say about the inspiration behind this wonderful card.

"Hello everyone!  The holiday season is right around the corner which means it's time for card makers far and wide to get started.  I made a fun and easy card along with a card sketch.  Sketches are the perfect starting point for any project.  They allow you to add or remove elements to create your own custom project.  I used the Christmas Emporium collection and the sketch to create this card titled "Holiday Elegance."   I hope you give this sketch a try.  Happy card making!" -Robin Shakoor

Here is my finished card using the sketch.  I added ribbon, die cuts and layers to customize my card.

Photo 2

I added a doily behind my die cut chipboard piece.  I inked the edges of the doily with several shades of brown to give an aged look.  The wire edge ribbon and pearls add a soft touch to my card elements.
