We are very excited to have two very special ladies as our new Special Projects Designers this year. What does that mean? Well we spend a lot of time traveling around to various events and trade shows throughout the year, teaching classes and getting to know our amazing crafting community. And we always want to bring fun and beautiful projects for the classes we teach. So we've brought Robin Shakoor and Lynette Carroll on board to work with Diane, Aimee and Charee in creating fabulous projects to teach at these events! Robin will be our go-to gal for layouts and cards. We are going to show you some of Robin's most amazing creations. Both Robin and Lynette were on our 2011 design team and we are very exited to have them on our team again in this special new role!
Here we have one of Robin's glorious Once Upon a Springtime creations! It's a stunning and adorable album. Here is what Robin had to say about this marvelous and cheerful work of art!
"The Once Upon a Springtime collection is my favorite for preserving childhood memories. I used the collection to create this altered mini album with a few select photos of of daughter. My daughter will turn 20 this month and going through old photos of her was wonderful. The cover is adorned with flowers, ribbon and beautiful detail cut images from the collection. I also added a beautiful Graphic 45 door plate and knob that I painted ivory and sprinkled with glitter. Adding this beautiful metal embellishment to your projects will give them a one-of-a-kind look that will last through the years. I hope you enjoy this walk down memory lane with me." -Robin Shakoor
Here we have one of Robin's famous layouts. This one features Little Darlings and it is so incredibly precious. Robin layered lots of beautiful papers here to create a colorful journey of imagery. So sweet!
Here is an amazing Christmas Emporium card that Robin created. It has a super fun 3-D effect to it that is just wonderful! You can see why we are so excited to have Robin's card expertize on our new team!

Here we have another astonishing layout by Robin. This one features Olde Curiosity Shoppe. It is so captivating with its amazing central image and decadent embellishments. The little splashes of color amid the black and cream tones is simply breathtaking! This LO is hypnotically beautiful! Here is what Robin had to say about her inspiration behind this piece.
I absolutely love this photo which features one of the most amazing head pieces I have ever seen! I used a monochromatic color scheme to best showcase my photo.
I used Olde Curiosity Shoppe chipboard die cuts and a beautiful Graphic 45 metal butterfly to adorn the upper right corner of my page.
I used delicate, translucent flowers along with crystals on the left side of my photo. Using my photo as inspiration, I added feathers throughout my floral arrangement. To finish my design, I used the Sew Ribbon system to add brown velvet ribbon to the bottom of my page.

This is another magnificent layout by Robin that features Little Darlings. There is something so classic and charming about this LO. It has incredible movement and texture to it. It absolutely captures the tenderness and love of Little Darlings. Here is what Robin had to say about it.
"The Little Darlings collection is just perfect for this sweet photo of as sleeping baby. I used a large doily, mounted on Little Treasures patterned paper. I used a pearl pen to add green pearls to the border of the doily. The alphabet stickers from the Little Darlings collection are wonderful and I love the way they look on the page. I finished my design with delicate flowers and a sweet chipboard tag from the collection." -Robin Shakoor
Next we have some wonderful creations by Lynette Carroll. Lynette will also be one of our Special Project Designers with a focus on creating mini albums, altered art and home decor. She will be working with Diane, Aimee and Charee to help create fun and fabulous project sheets and classes. One look at Lynette's gorgeous style and you'll see why she's a perfect fit!
This is an exquisite piece of home decor that Lynette created using Christmas Emporium. This creation has such a clean and symmetrical look but it is also full of lavish color and lots of holiday cheer!
