And now it's time for the crafts! First up is a super clever creation by Denise Hahn. It's a fantastic lunch money box and tutorial! This is such a great idea, both beautiful and functional! Create one of your very own with Denise's fun tutorial! Here is what Denise had to say about this splendid work of art!

"When I was little there was always a little dish or tray on the breakfast bar that my Mom and Dad would toss change (and if we were lucky dollars!) into for lunch money. So for Back to School I took it up an notch and created this little ABC Primer Lunch Money Box. At first I was looking for something to alter, but when I couldn't find the right piece, I took a play at of Jim Hankins playbook and made my own with chipboard. If you find creating something from scratch out of chipboard intimidating, my tutorial will give you a great, easy jumping off point to get you started. Another tip is to use subject related ephemera to adorn your projects- In this case I used a brown lunch bag for the background and even a few old copper pennies for the extra vintage touch." -Denise Hahn

Next we have another splendid creation featuring An ABC Primer. This is a super sweet layout by Arlene Cuevas! This LO is just perfect. It's got an adorable central photo and lots of stunning layers and patterns. Think about what kind of fun back to school layout you'd like to create! Arlene even gives some great tips on how she created this marvelous LO. Take it away, Arlene!

"I have wanted to create a scrapbook page of this picture of my 3 boys and An ABC Primer was the perfect paper collection to get me started! I find it quite difficult to find masculine papers, but An ABC Primer delivered! I did a TON of layering around the photo with Graphic 45 Staples and images from An ABC Primer. I also took little strips of May Arts ribbon and layered them in to create additional dimension and fun! TIP: When creating a scrapbook page, have FUN with it! Layer to your heart’s content. Don’t feel limited. You can never go wrong! Always start off with the photo. Most often, the photo will inspire what comes next. Can’t wait to see what you create!" -Arlene Cuevas
