And now it's time for a very special Graphic 45 birthday! This Sunday we are celebrating the birthday of our beloved Social Media Marketing extraordinaire, Joanna Hardy! If you've corresponded with us on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or Ning then you're familiar with Joanna's work. She's the go-to gal for all things related to our social networking! She keeps you up to date with the latest Graphic 45 news, answers your questions, updates you about prize give-aways and keeps you inspired with fun posts throughout the day. She has even taught classes and been with us at CHA! We love having Joanna on our team and we are so happy to be celebrating her birthday! We want to wish her the happiest birthday ever! Get to know our queen of social media! Give some warm birthday wishes to our friend and colleague, the amazing Joanna Hardy!
Hello Joanna! You play a very special role at Graphic 45. You are
constantly involved in our Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other
social media marketing. What do you love most about your role as our
social network wizard?
It's the most amazing job ever! I love
the world of social media and how much fun all those sites are! I get to
know our followers everyday, pin on Pinterest (yes, that's part of my
job - squee!), I get to come up with fun ideas for our newsletters, and
most of all, I get so excited about seeing the Design Team knock my
socks off with their papercrafting prowess! This job has truly given the
meaning to "Do what you love, love what you do." Our G45ers are truly
the best and it's an honor to get to know them through social media. And
I love helping with our giveaways - there's nothing better than making
someone's day with some Graphic 45 goodies!
We've noticed that you've been influenced by the world of
papercrafting since you came to work for Graphic 45! What kinds of
crafts inspire you the most? Do you want to share some examples of G45
projects you've created?
Oh my goodness, I'm obsessed now. I love altering things, making fun
paper embellishments, and making cards! I've always loved crafting, but
papercrafting is a whole new level of fun I had never experienced
before! I'm still a beginner, but it's fun to see improvement since I've
begun. Our Design Team is a major influence on me and my developing
style. I go to our blog and Pinterest and get so many ideas. Also, I
just love playing with our new collections. Sneak peek season makes me a
happy lady!

Word has it that you are a big fan of theater and music! What has
been in heavy rotation on your stereo lately? Are there any plays that
you've seen recently that really knocked your socks off?
Oh my,
where would I be without music and the arts? I actually went to college
to study theatre, so it is a big part of my life! I've taken a break
from the stage for the most part this past year, but therefore have
gotten to see so many amazing shows! Highlights of 2012 would be, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by True Colors in Atlanta, A Wrinkle in Time at Theatrical Outfit in Atlanta, and seeing my new ultimate favorite Once on Broadway this past year in NYC!
As far as music goes, there's not a day that goes by that music
doesn't bring me joy! On heavy rotation around the holidays is Sufjan
Stevens. As we get back into the regular rotation, I love me some
Shovels and Rope, Dan Deacon, Grizzly Bear, and who doesn't love some
Top 40 Dance tunes every now and then?
Your birthday is so close to the New Year! That must be fun! What are some of your happy hopes for the year 2013?
I
love the New Year and the sense of purpose it brings! This year, I have
been training for a 5K. I am the world's worst runner (with asthma
included), so this is a big step for me. And I've actually really
enjoyed it! Hopefully, I'll make it through the race. :)
A constant goal of mine is to Stop, look around me, and be grateful!
A new quote I love is "Stop the glorification of Busy." That's the new
goal for 2013!
You live in Atlanta, which is a stunning city! Do you have any fun plans for a night on the town for your birthday?
Well,
I get the honor and joy of being in sunny Anaheim at CHA this year for
my birthday! So, I will be celebrating in our beautiful Graphic 45 booth
with the G45 family. When I get back into town, I'm hoping to celebrate
with my husband and closest friends. I love Atlanta and know there will
be lots of fun places to visit in celebration!
This is last year, when my friends threw me an 80s Murder Mystery birthday party. It was pretty fantastic!
Thank you all so much for joining us today, G45ers! We hope you all enjoyed these amazing sneak peeks! We have so many fun things planned for you for next week! We will have our final 4 winners to announce for our Secret Garden contest on Monday! Plus we will be bringing you brand new crafts from our design team that feature our new collections! You are going to love their super inspiring works of art! Plus we will have more fun highlights from our adventures at CHA! We hope you'll stop by and see us! We wish you all a fabulous Friday and a terrific weekend!
Happy Papercrafting!
Your Friends at Graphic 45
