Creative Organization with Graphic 45
TGIF, G45ers!
We hope you've enjoyed this fun week on the blog! We've had so many great projects shared, and more great projects to be shared. We have a two great projects by Clare Charvill. Two beautiful projects using memorable collections!
First, let's announce the winner of this week's blog contest! This winner was chosen from our blog comments:
-Michelle Gower: Such lovely inspiration and freebies to boot.
Congratulations, Michelle! You won the great Place in Time prize pack pictured above. Please email info@g45papers.com to claim your prize. Thanks to everyone for taking part, and join us next week for another great contest!
Now, we have some great projects from Clare Charvill! Both of these projects are such fantastic ideas to make basic organizational boxes beautiful! Update your storage system as inspired by these two great ideas.
First, we have a beautiful Botanicabella altered box. Here's what Clare has to say about this beautiful project: "I picked up this paper mache box from Dyan Reaveley's shop in Harrogate last year. When I saw it sitting on the shelf I knew it had to be altered. It's quite chunky and the perfect size to hold some of my hand made cards.
After painting it black I used yellow, red and black papers form the Botanicabella Collection which I must admit was one I'd bought just to look at and store lol. Then I added a few cut out elements to the inside and outside of the lid to add a little detail, but not too much. To finish I added a metal ornate key hole and ornate metal label holder from the staples collection. Its now the most used piece of altered art I have in the house :-)"
Next, we have a wonderful Le Cirque altered money box. What a great idea for important storage!
She even shared a YouTube Video with us!

I love Clare's work! The card storage box is so classy, and the circus money box is delightful. It has such great movement, and the pulled back curtains are such a nice touch. I think we all need to start a movement to encourage Graphic 45 to re-release some of their earlier pads. I adore Botanica Bella and On the Boardwalk....I have some in my stash, but I'm reluctant to use it, because I know there isn't any more where that came from. Maybe release an omnibus "The Best of Graphic 45."

Love the projects. I do have some

Oh, I love the "vintage" collections too. I have a Fashionista stack that I am hording like crazy I've only cut a couple images out. I'm not worried I'll use it eventually when the right project comes along. I'm still searching for it. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats Michelle!! I just love..love Clare's work. Her tutorials are so easy to follow. She points so many things out as she creates her projects so you understand everything she is doing. Even how she glues her papers. I never smoothed mine out before. Oops. This money box is awesome. Thank you Clare and thank you Graphic 45 for your amazing collections!!! All of them are so inspiring. Have a blessed weekend everyone.

Sometimes you can find some of the discontinued G45 papers @ Tuesday Morning. I found some of the Circus papers and Steampunk Debutante embellishments there about 2 months ago.

Clare is my most favorite member of your Design Team. Her projects are always delightful to look at and her videos are fantastic. Can she be made a permanent member of your company? Thank you, Clare, for your wonderful inspiration.

I just finished watching Clare's video on making the money box. This is the first video of her's that I have ever watched, and I must say I was so impressed. I love how instead of holding the finished project and saying, "I did this & that, and then I glued this here, and then I used so and so and put it right here", she actually started out with an unfinished project and she showed us exactly what she did, and in what sequence she did it. So helpful, and a great way to teach! I'm off to watch more of her videos of using G45 products. Thanks Clare!

You girls continue to blow my mind with your creativity. Thank you once again for your amazing projects. I too found papers at Tuesday Morning and was trembling at the amazing find. It would be nice to have the older papers re-released. It would be a win, win for all involved. Don't you think? It's incredible what you can find at second hand stores to transform into beautiful works of art. And the price is certainly right. I'min bed with the flu, so I hope everyone out there is feeling well. I can only dream of creating right now and I think your beautiful art is making me feel better. Thank you.
