ATC-Graphic45-Susan-Lui-1of11

Hello G45ers,

Today we're bringing you a very special blog post that's all about the fun and beauty of artist trading cards! ATCs are so enjoyable to create and they are just perfect as gifts, cards, or to string together in a pretty banner! Artist trading cards are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards and are usually small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. Because they are small they are perfect to send through the mail! Did you know that ATCs got their start in the mail art movement in Switzerland? It's true! There are so many fun ways to use ATCs and there are endless ways to make them! We're going to explore some fabulous ideas for Graphic 45 ATCs with a stunning Bohemian Bazaar creation by Nichola Battilana! Then Susan Lui will share 5 marvelous ATCs from various Graphic 45 collections! Get ready for a truly inspiring day, G45ers!

Lets begin with this bright and beautiful ATC by Nichola! She combined Bohemian Bazaar with gorgeous floral embellishments, golden accents and splendid fussy cut elements. The lavish layers and dimension in this ATC make it absolutely breathtaking! Want to create one of your own? Follow along with Nichola's fun video tutorial! Here is what she had to say about this incredible work of art!

"The vibrant colours and patterns of Bohemian Bazaar totally remind me of the beautiful colour palette used in the depictions of Hindu deities. And so, here is an ACT which celebrates the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi through the beautiful papers of Graphic 45." -Nichola
