Next up is this wonderful altered 8x8 Matchbook Box and night light by Denise. The dazzling Mother Goose papers give this box such a dreamy look. This is another great example of the beautiful possibilities for home decor with Mother Goose! You can create the most amazing shadowboxes like this one that add so much charm and color to any room. Altered Matchbook Boxes also make amazing handmade gifts! Plus they're so fun to create! Here is what Denise had to say about this vibrant work of art!
"Take your Graphic 45 Staples 8x8 Matchbox and turn it into a night light! I wanted to make this shadow box as a baby shower gift- but when I was done, I felt it needed something a little more. As I was digging through my stash I ran across these battery operated tea lights. I added it in and then decided the box needed a little something more sparkly, so I added some Donna Salazar Fairy Dust in Pralines and Cream to the background. Now the box shimmers and sparkles when the lights are off! This will be a great technique for Halloween shadow boxes too! As a bonus, I created a Fussy Cutting 101 video to show you all of my tips and tricks for the most delicate of cutting AND inking! Enjoy!" -Denise
