Now, how about some papercrafty eye candy before we let you go, G45ers? Rhea Freitag always makes such memorable and wonderful projects. This altered box using An Eerie Tale is just amazing! So many great details and techniques throughout.
"This project was all inspired by the old box I had on hand from a large make up chain store. I thought the 'peek-a-boo' element on the top was the perfect match for Graphic 45’s new paper, An Erie Tale. I chose two complimenting papers that were non seasonal, Enchanted and A Grand Illusion, so this could work for gift giving year round. To make this box with lightning speed, I used my Creative Station by Xyron. This made everything perfectly sticky and did not require drying time! The addition of thewashi tape gave it a finished look and also covered up the edges. In order to accent the slit in the box, I decided to frame it out with little pegs to create a unique closure. I just love how it makes the box look corseted! Inside the box I made a fun paperclay heart and lined the box with a bit of Spanish moss as it suits the theme. Cheers!" ~Rhea
