Celebrate Your Favorite Things with Cards!

Graphic45_NBattilana_HogwartsHouseCards_12of12

Today, we are sharing the most amazing cards! Nichola Battilana and Lori Williams show us just how fun cardmaking can be. You are going to love their amazing creations. Let's jump on in!

If you are anything like us, you love Harry Potter! Nichola is a huge fan as well, and she makes the best set of cards. Read all about it below.

"I’m a big Harry Potter fan. Big. I own all the books and movies (Prisoner of Azkaban is on heavy rotation in my studio). “Muggle” is a term frequently used in my house. I recently made myself a mail owl who could easily pass for Hedwig’s cousin. It’s only natural that a Potterhead such as myself would eventually make a gigantic mess creating a set of cards inspired by the four houses of Hogwart’s. Don’t be terrified of the massive supply list, I’ve just taken colour coordinated snippets from a boatload of Graphic 45 collections.  Don’t be afraid of your supplies and never be afraid to mix and match! Jump in and have fun!" ~Nichola

Next, we have the best Raining Cats & Dogs card from the amazing Lori. Her details on this card are simply perfect. You'll love the colors, layering, and sentiment.

"This card is one that has a lot of layers going on and the various prints and patterns all work together nicely. One detail I really like even though it’s so simple is the stamped scroll/flourish at the top of the center panel. It’s from the coordinating Raining Cats and Dogs Stamp set and it’s just really adds that perfect little touch. I like in my work to add that detail. Even the smallest little stitch or stamp can really bump your projects up a notch. This is such a great collection that is sure to be a favorite of everyones." ~Lori
