088

It's a fine day to celebrate our amazing gentleman crafters today! We are so grateful to have the amazing Jim, The Gentleman Crafter as our G45 Ambassador. Andrew Roberts is our amazing male Design Team member. These two fellas are fantastic crafters and today we want to celebrate their creations. Jim, The Gentleman Crafter, first shares an incredible "Curious Cabinet" using Artisan Style! What an amazing project. Then, Andrew shows us fun ways to save money this New Year with Mother Goose.

But first, who won this past week's giveaway? Our randomly chosen winner is....

-Tricia Farwell

Congratulations, Tricia! Please email joanna@g45papers.com to claim your prize. Many thanks to all who took part this week! We will have a brand new contest next week here on the blog.

Now enjoy this incredible altered Artisan Style "Curious Cabinet" by the incomparable Jim, The Gentleman Crafter! This cabinet is made by Jim using chipboard and his amazing imagination.

"The Curiuos Cabinet is perfect for your curious curiosities! Lift the chained lid and a hidden compartment is at the top. Open the windowed cabinet doors and three drawers are perfect for storage from craft supplies to jewelry...." ~Jim

Andrew shares this fabulous piggy bank using Mother Goose! What a fun, adorable project perfect to teach children the wisdom of "a penny saved is a penny earned." It's also perfect for adults saving their coins this New Year!

"My inspiration was a childhood memory of when I received my pocket money and would love to put it into my piggy bank. there are somany different types of piggy banks available and it is a great motivation for your kids to start saving.  Mother goose has a perfect theme for this type of project.

Tip: When embellishing a round project divide the project into sections to create balance and symmetry. I divided this project into hemispheres." ~Andrew

The piggy bank is adorable!! TFS!

Gentleman Jim you have wowed me again! I love this "Curious Cabinet"!

These pieces are beautiful!

Wonderful Work
Hope not to sound dumb but is the Curious Cabinet bought or made? If made where can I buy the tutorial? If bought to be decorated, where is it sold?
Thanks Laura

Cute project Gents!
Thank you for sharing your lovely artwork, it's so inspiring.

Fantastic projects from both. I am foaming at the mouth over the Artisan Style paper. It's the most beautiful I've seen.

The guys are rockin' today!

Oh Jim, you did it AGAIN!!!! Absolutely Incredible piece, on my word! WISH I had your talent.....
Andrew's piggy bank is very cute.

Another fabulous Jim creation! I so enjoy seeing what he creates, and this curio does not let us down!

What inspiration!!!!

Always nice to see the beautiful projects on this site. Thanks, G45!

Fabulous projects!!!

Jim's projects are always awesome, and his Curious Cabinet does not disappoint! I love Andrew's Mother Goose piggy bank, too!

Congratulations Tricia!

Fabulous projects!! Jim, I would love to see a tutorial on your cabinet-please:)

Jim's cabinet is amazing! I am always astounded by the beautiful things that he creates from chipboard and pretty paper!

Wow beautiful work gentlemen

Jim is my favorite designer! Another fabulous project!

Fascinating projects today gentlemen! I love all the creativity...it's so inspiring.

I love this paper fun!

Very cool!

You are incredibly creative gentlemen! These are awesome projects!

Love Love Love

Beautiful inspiration once again

Loved the cabinet. Especially loved the piggy bank tin idea. I could make some for our annual holiday bazaar for the children's hospital. I love a way to use many different papers from various collections. The Mother Goose collection works really well, but a By the Sea piggy bank might be a way to save for the next vacation. The ideas are flowing.

Both projects are amazing.
