Gorgeous Graphic 45 Upcycled Altered Art
Welcome to the blog, G45ers! Sunday is a brilliant day to bask in some beautiful altered art ideas! Today, Solange Marques shows you some great upcycling ideas. Then, Danielle Copley upcycles a beautiful altered jewelry armoire that she found at a thrift store. Use your found goods and make them beautiful in a brand new way!
First, Solange shares these beautiful altered bottles and teapots. What stunning ideas for kitchen decor!
"I decided to make some altereds using only Graphic 45 stamps and some chipboard. I covered the bottles and teapots using Acrylic Gesso. I needed to pass several layers of acrylic gesso. After I applied Crackle paste and finally I used the stamps on the pieces. After I added some chipboards and ribbons." ~Solange

This is such a gorgeous altered jewelry armoire from Danielle. Read all about it below:
"This jewelry armoire was a thrift store find for $2.50!! I loved the curved, elegant lines of it and thought the Gilded Lily Collection matched it beautifully! I first covered the dark wood piece in white paint and ‘gilded” the edges with gold paint! It was missing a pane of glass, but I saw it as an opportunity to have fun and create a dimensional, fussy-cut scene for the doors instead of replacing the glass. With the amazing patterns and images that Graphic 45 Collections are known for, it has a new life as a jewelry armoire fit for a princess!
Tip: Check out your local thrift store or around your house for something that you can spruce up and give new life to." ~Danielle
