Great Games with Graphic 45

Game 2

Our Design Team members have incredible imaginations and Brit Sviggum and Lori Williams have kids that help that imagination stay on its toes. There are 2 such fun ideas today from these 2 designers. Brit shares a great layout that she staged with her game-loving son. Then, Lori has a great tool for learning and fun using Graphic 45!

First, we love this cool Rare Oddities layout idea from Brit! She is such an awesome mom:

"My son really loves to play games on the computer, x-box, playstation and so on. So I promisd him to make a game-layout with him in it. We went out for a photoshoot, and I asked him to do lots of different moves. I guess I shot around 20 pictures. I placed all the pictures on the table, found the Rare Oddities papers, and started to plan the set up for the page. I found 4 pictures that I thought were best suited for the page and got started. The purpose of the game is to collect all the keys before the time runs out. You can see in the upper right corner how many lives he has left ;)" ~Brit

Next, Lori shares awesome math flash cards using our Staples Boxes and An ABC Primer! What a fun way to study with your kids. Love this.

"Lately I can’t seem to get enough of G45’s boxes.  My mind just goes crazy thinking of all the ways I can alter them and turn them into something new and exciting.  They really are so much fun.  So I chose that as my favorite staple, although I still do love the metal..oh and the washi tape, don’t forget the tags…LOL, I think you get the picture, I love them all.

I try to create altered items that I can use in my everyday life, and right now, multiplication is something that is main stream in my household.  My youngest son who is 9 is learning multiplication tables and that’s just one of those things you have to memorize, no other way around it.  So a good ole staple from years past, is FLASH CARDS and I thought it would be great to make him a game set for his multiplication tables.  We play a game when he does his cards, for every answer he gets right, he earns a penny, but for everyone he misses he has to turn the penny back in.  My box has a place to store all the cards but also the pennies.  I couldn’t have thought of a better collection to go with my flash card set than the ABC Primer.  I really loved the way it turned out and hopefully my little one will love multiplication a bit more since it been Graphic45ed." ~Lori
