Annette Green

"Hello! I’m Annette Green and although my 2 terms on the design team are now over, I am thrilled to be asked to stay on as a Special Projects Designer for Graphic 45! If you’ve attended CHA, or any Graphic 45 events or classes around the globe, chances are I’ve designed that project you made. What an honor it’s been and I’m looking forward to another year of designing for the best paper crafting company in the business.

Formerly a graphic designer by trade, I’ve spent the 15 years as a paper crafting enthusiast. What began as simple scrapbooking of our family memories has turned into a fulfilling career in the best business ever. I spend my days in my home studio creating and sharing art and inspiration through blogging, videos, and as an instructor.

I live in sunny Melbourne, Florida with my husband Paul of 23 years, our talented teenage daughter Jamie and our sweet, shy Sheltie named Suki who sometimes makes an appearance in my videos. I enjoy working out, eating healthy, and thinking positive thoughts daily. I especially enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with friends. Especially having coffee! (I’m a bit of a coffee fanatic, I’m afraid.) Paul recently retired, so life is taking on some fun changes. Who knows where I’ll end up? All I know is as long as I have my crafting hobby, I’ll be a happy, happy girl!" ~Annette

Next, Annette shares some paper maché magic using Home Sweet Home! We love this handmade purse. Check out her video tutorial below!

"I love taking inexpensive alterable items from the craft store and transforming them into something beautiful for my home. I chose a simple papier maché purse that I’ve had stashed away for a while for this fun project. My favorite Graphic 45 Staples right now are the new Antique Brass Claw Feet and while planning the design for this purse, I decided to paint the feet a bright red color to coordinate with the beautiful Garden Fresh paper in the Home Sweet Home Collection. Metal Staples are not difficult to paint following some simple steps, which I share in my video. Enjoy!" ~Annette

Now, many of you know Gloria Stengel who's been a part of Graphic 45 for years. We are so glad she's a Special Projects Designer for us!

Gloria

Gloria Stengel

"My name is Gloria Stengel and I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary of living in beautiful, southern California! I am a wife of almost 28 years, the mom of three mostly grown kids, and the owner of two cats.  We are a Christian homeschooling family, having homeschooled two kids all the way to college, with the last one now in homeschooled high school. The light at the end of the homeschooling tunnel is no longer the train!

I have been hooked on crafts all of my life, and I have been a papercrafter for 25 years! I have always loved to color, play with paper dolls, and create "stuff"!  I love all aspects of paper crafting: card making, scrapbooking, mini albums, altered art, up-cycling, you name it! I am happiest when I am making a mess! It's the cleaning up part that I don't care for!

I have been on a number of design teams over the past few years, including over four years with Graphic 45. I joined the Graphic 45 Design Team in 2010 and continued on the team until my third term ended in 2013. I became a Special Projects Designer in the spring of 2013, taking a short break in 2014 to recover from a back injury. I once told Diane that she would never get rid of me, and so far, I have been like a barnacle stuck to the G45 ship!

I love my role as a Special Project Designer because I get to use the prettiest paper in the world in my designs! I create projects for tutorial sheets and other special events, which allows me to share my love of Graphic 45 with students all over the world! My current favorite G45 collections are: Raining Cats and Dogs, Rare Oddities, and Home Sweet Home. I have some of every collection that Graphic 45 has ever made, but my ALL TIME FAVORITE is Times Nouveau, which has been "re-booted" as a Deluxe Collector's Edition! I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful company for such a long time! May they never tire of me! " ~Gloria
