A Week of Graphic 45 Albums: Day 4 with Safari Adventure!
Aren't you inspired by all the great ideas in this Week of Albums? We sure are! Don't worry, the fun continues today with stunning Safari Adventure ideas from Einat Kessler and Marina BlauKitchen. Two incredible designers with two amazing albums - we are in for a treat!
"When I first saw the Safari Adventure collection I immediately fell in love with it. It took me back more than 13 years into the past to the time I lived in Kenya. This amazingly inspirational country with its breath taking safari views and wonderful people was my home for three years. I have the best memories from that time and many photos which are part of 6 beautiful albums. So creating this mini album was not only super fun but also emotional and personal. I actually had a safari adventure in real life!
I made this mini album from scratch using the alphabet banners as a base for the interactive pages. I spelled the words “Jumbo Kenya” with the alphabet banners and build the mechanisms on the other side of each banner while creating a background to make the letter more visible.
Tip #1: When creating a travel theme project try to incorporate some authentic elements from the country you visited. I added a tribal wood figure as embellishment and used the word JUMBO in the mini album title which means HELLO in Swahili (the language spoken in Kenya).
Tip #2: Add texture to your project to enhance the theme and design. I added burlap to the mini album which is a texture associated with safari and nature." ~Einat

Now, Marina shares a wonderful album using cardboard and canvas. Isn't this incredible? Take a look:
"Safari Adventure Collection is the star of this album made with some padding cardboard and wrapped with adhesive canvas. It has three sections for photos. First section has a tab in each page with a decorated cover. Love the wonderful and multiple combinations of this colecction.
1.- Make multiple layers to give dimension to your projects.
2.- I use zip bags to store all the paper remnants and keep it together with the collection to with they belong, so it is very easy to find little pieces of paper or fussy cutting you have not used in your current project." ~Marina BlauKitchen
