"What a treat to blog hop with Petaloo and Xyron!  I took a 6 pack box and altered it to use for a utensil holder.  Every year I host Christmas at my house and on Christmas Eve we do a big buffet of really yummy junk food and this 6 pack box makes a perfect container to hold the eating utensils and napkins.  " ~Maggi

Petaloo shared with us the most gorgeous collection of flowers that are perfect for all your holiday creations.  I used a little bit of everything they sent on my project so you could see how pretty all these blooms are!  You might not think of using a berry pick with Christmas projects, but I think it looks so pretty nestled in there with the poinsettias.  The glittered snowflakes and star picks just add to the overall festive feel of my project.

I used the Xyron Creative Station Lite to adhere the doilies.  The Creative Station Lite applies adhesive to anything up to 5" wide and 1/8" thick.  It works so well with doilies as they have so many intricate cuts that are difficult to glue.  You just run your doily through the machine (no batteries or electricity required)  and the adhesive bonds perfectly to the paper so you can easily adhere it to your project, without any mess, no oozing glue, I love that!  Since it will take materials up to 1/8" thick, I will definitely be using it to attach chipboard pieces.  I've always had a hard time gluing those detail chippies that have lots of tiny little cut outs, the Creative Station will be the perfect tool to add adhesive to these.

The idea for this project was born last year when my bff told me how much she liked champagne but since she lives alone, it didn't make much sense for her to buy bottles of champagne since it doesn't keep after opening.  Well, I thought to myself, I will get her some champagne splits, but then I needed a fun way to gift it.  Ah ha I thought, upon spying a 6 pack, yep, that would be really cute filled with champagne splits.

She loved it and now she uses it to hold dog toys for her "grand dog" that occasionally visits.  Honest, that is what she told me!

"I have a Santa Claus collection that I display every Christmas on my mantle.  Some are new and some are very vintage and I love them all.  When I saw the fabulous Graphic 45 St Nicholas collection, I knew I wanted to create a decorative piece to add to my mantel for this holiday season.  I decided to create a tag box to hold tags for gifts and for pretty tags received on gifts plus a tiny photo album.  The ATC kit by My Creative Spirit that we received in our first designer supply box was perfect!  I also used Xyron adhesives and some beautiful Petaloo flowers and clusters to really make this an heirloom for my Santa collection. Happy Crafting!" ~ Sandy

Tip:

Follow the instructions on the Petaloo cluster packages and “take apart” the clusters.  Combine different ones together like the pine cones & berries , the snowflakes and the poinsettias.  The Xyron Sticker Maker made it so easy to turn paper fussy cut elements into stickers and easily add them to the mini album inside the tag box.  The Xyron Tape Runner is a great adhesive to use to mat the box with the patterned paper as well as cover all the tags you will make for the holidays.

Great idea with the pop holder. I have one that is a 4-bottle holder and it would be perfect for our little family gathering. Thanks for the awesome inspiration. So many projects and so little time.

I just LOVE everything, especially the supply box! I saw the supply list, but didn't see the instructions. I would REALLY like to make it!

I really like the 6-pack. I just bought a 6-pack with softdrinks some days ago to decorate it.

Oh my the St Nicholas papers are gorgeous, I want them in my Christmas stocking but you know Wat I will do, I won't use them, they are toooooooooooooo pretty to use, thank you for such a brilliant prize, I have been thinking about the zyron, it looks brilliant, I mite have to invest in an new if I don't win this so pls pls pls pls let me win

The projects have been amazing! Kathy's card has really inspired me to step up my game! Although Maggie's six pack makes me want to give that a try too. I may need more paper! Thank you Graphic 45, Petaloo and Xyron for all the fun. And a no thank you to auto correct for continuing to mess with me on spelling Petal instead of Petaloo. I promise I know it's Petaloo! !!

I just love Maggi's utensil holder! Our family has gotten so big that on birthday celebrations, we do a buffet and therefore, use utensil holders rather than a place setting. So this would make such a perfect gift for my family. And Sandy's tag box is beautiful! Great ideas.

Beautiful and inspiring projects! I can't wait to try them!

Amazing projects and inspiration!!!

What is it about miniatures that makes them irresistible?!! Mini champagne bottles (I need those!!), wee mini albums... too cute!

Especially Love the tag box!

What fabulous ideas. There are certainly some talented people around. Love these.
