The Valentine's Day inspiration continues today with a beautiful card and layout from Einat Kessler and Nico Scrap! First, let's see this amazing card from Einat. We love her tips with this gorgeous project!
"A fast and simple card for someone that you love. Just layer pieces of matching papers and tags and then add a quote and some embellishments. Use a heart punch to add little hearts from the same papers you used for the card base or layers." ~Einat
Tip:Use a quote from the pattern paper to add a sentiment to your card.
Tip:Use scraps of matching papers to add layers to the card.
Now, how about a brilliant layout from Nico Scrap? This is Valentine perfection!
"Is really raining hearts? That’s what i feel in this period of year, when christmas has passed and has left behind a lot of love from our family and parents. and we feel it, we feel the love. And yes, of course because it’s almost Valentine’s day and this collection of papers is p-p-p-perfect! So i have decided to make a layout to get into valentine’s day mood with lot of hearts and PINK!" ~Nico Scrap

We are getting ready for the day of Love here at Graphic 45! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we have some lovely card ideas for you today from Aneta Matuszewska and Sandy Trefger! First, we will see the gorgeous work of Aneta:
"Quick and easy Valentine’s card using 'Place in Time' collection. Very romantic with a pocket for a love note." ~Aneta
"Red is one of my favorite colors so I love to use it when creating anything related to Valentine’s Day! And I love roses. Which means when I set out to make a Valentine Card for Graphic 45 that I went with the beautiful papers in the 8x8 Off to the Races pad. Such gorgeous roses in that paper collection and such lovely ladies too—all with a romantic, vintage look. I decided to use a gorgeous found silver metal photo frame to showcase some of the paper roses and altered it along with the Graphic 45 Door Plate & Knob by using sparkly silver embossing powders. I love how it worked on these two pieces and hope you’ll have a try at experimenting with different mediums. Happy Crafting!" ~Sandy
Tip:Don’t be afraid of altering metal pieces such as the Graphic 45 door plate and knob. The easiest way to do this is by dabbing the piece with embossing ink (I use an embossing dabber) and then sprinkling the piece with the chosen embossing powder. Use tweezers to hold one end of the metal piece as it can get really hot when heating and melting the powder with your heat gun.

Then we got whisked away to the magical world of Midnight Masquerade! What fun!
Kathy has a brilliant card for us today with this new collection. What gorgeous colors and layers! Love this!
"I have fallen in love with Midnight Masquerade! The vibrant colors, whimsical images and vivid patterns are so inspiring. The playful vibe of this fanciful collection really lends itself to specialty cards like this easel style shaker card that sets the stage for a beautiful birthday celebration. " ~Kathy
Tip:To make the shaker element on this card, I used acetate cardstock and 3/16” wide clear foam tape. The foam tape was attached around the perimeter of a 4” x 6” image from the collection. I filled the space with an assortment of sequins, beads and glitter. I cut the acetate to size and then pressed it over the clear sticky foam. Instant shaker box. To finish it off, I used a craft knife to cut the frame off the matching image and glued it in place with glossy accents.
Tip: To make the stopper for your easel card, try gluing a bow and flower cluster over a panel made from border strips.
Tip:I don’t usually mat my images on brightly colored cardstock, but for this whimsical card, it was the right move. It ties all the various colors together, and also prevents the design from becoming muddled.

Don't forget the beauty and elegance of Portrait of a Lady! Swooning over this gorgeous collection!
Portrait of a Lady
Maggi shares a meaningful layout with us using Portrait of a Lady! The absolute beauty:
"Portrait of a Lady is such a beautiful collection and so perfect for those vintage photos of you family. I chose a photo of my Grandmother taken sometime when she was younger than I remember her, but, I love this photo for it shows that she was a very pretty lady and I think quite fitting to use with my title "Portrait of a Lady." I fussy cut a frame from one of the collection photos. It's so vintage and looks so great with my photo!
I like to mix fussy cut flowers with my 3D flowers. I think that brings the paper and 3D flowers together. Tip: Use foam dots or squares and pop up your fussy cut flowers and leaves, it adds dimension. Diecut flourishes also are great to use in your floral clusters. Pop those up too with foam." ~Maggi

Olde Curiosity Shoppe Deluxe Collector's Edition
*All the product pictured below comes in this Deluxe Collector's Edition Pack!*
"Isn't it great that Olde Curiosity Shoppe has been released again as a Deluxe Collector's Edition? I put together a really fun mini using the redesigned Staples Square Tag & Pocket Mini. I know you'll love the new mini; the design has been improved so that the pages will lay open.
Because this mini has so many pages (18, that's 36 pages counting front and back!) I kept the inside rather simple. The first thing I did was cut thirty-six 5.5" papers and then glued them all in the mini. For the pocket pages, I cut the 5.5" sheets to fit the pocket pages and mixed up the paper designs so that the pockets were a different paper than the corresponding back of the page. At this point, all the pages have a base that I can build on. After cutting all those 5.5" pieces I had a lot of strips leftover that I knew would work well as accents on the pages. I used those strips along with some fussy cut some elements, and some cardstock scraps, to embellish all the pages.
The mini also has hidden pockets that holds a square tag. I papered those and looped a twill ribbon through the grommet and tied it off with a bit of jute twine. I diecut some smaller tags and inserted those in the small pocket flaps.
I did a video walk through of my mini so you can see all the pages, there are way too many photos to post on the blog!!" ~Maggi
