We are so excited about Portrait of a Lady hitting stores soon! This new collection is absolutely breathtaking in real life, and today Gloria Stengel and Maggi Harding bring it to life with their incredible projects! First, take tour of this collection with Charee Filimoehala and scrapbook.com!
Gloria makes a gorgeous card with this new collection! Take a look:
Portrait of a Lady is such a lovely, soft, feminine collection! I am excited to see what I can make with it during the coming months! I created a standard A2 card from ivory cardstock and loaded it up with beautiful papers. Rather than add pre-made flowers, I used seam binding to make a fluffy bow, and then I fussy cut some of the flowers from the paper for decoration.
A few sequins scattered around give the card just a bit of sparkle. I found a faux vintage button in my stash that suited this card perfectly. This is going to be my go-to collection for wedding cards, Mother's Day cards, and birthday cards this year! I added a few bits of paper to decorate the inside.
Portrait of a Lady: Grace, Isabelle, Victoria, Blanche, Elizabeth, Maria
Trims: Really Reasonable Ribbon - dark peach seam binding, ivory twine
Button: craft supply
Sequins: Craft Medley
Adhesive: Foam tape, tape runner, multi-medium, hot glue
Maggi shares a beautiful layout:
"The Portrait of a Lady collection is everything that defines grace and beauty. The pinks and greens of this collection are so beautiful, and the vintage images so dreamy, well, I had to do a layout featuring the elegant lady on the signature page. You can go wild with flowers on this collection too! " ~Maggi
Tip: Fussy cut some of the gorgeous roses in the collection and nestle them in among 3D flowers for a dynamic floral cluster.
