Create with Vintage Hollywood!
We love the striking Vintage Hollywood! The rich colors and vintage imagery make this collection pop! And our designers are creating amazing projects with this new collection. Today, Sandy Trefger shares a great album with us, and Katelyn Grosart shows how to brighten your home with a great altered frame! Let's see these great projects:
"March is National Craft Month and I’ve created this little mini Passport album to share my favorite crafting technique. I love to create projects using only one or two sheets of 12x12 cardstock as the basis and then add gorgeous Graphic 45 papers and other embellishments to decorate and finish it off. This little album is only 4.5” x 5.5” in size with a ½” spine but it has lots of room for photos and journaling notes when it is folded out. Your trimmer, score-board and scissors plus adhesives are all you really need to create this fun mini album. Of course, you want beautiful papers and embellishments too. I’ve written up a Snapguide tutorial to show you how easy it is to create this project using my favorite crafting technique of measuring, cutting and scoring to make an album. Happy Crafting!" ~ Sandy
Tip: When designing a mini album that will be made out of a single sheet of 12x12 cardstock, keep the height of your album at 6” or less. This way you can cut two 12” long sections out of one 12x12 sheet that you will then score into sections to create the pages and cover. Score the sections so they will be the same width and will fold in together easily. If you have an odd size section leftover on the end, you can glue it to another full section. Check out my Snapguide tutorial for a step by step on how to create a mini album out of cardstock.

"I absolutely love the new Vintage Hollywood collection. So as soon as I received this collection, I knew I needed to make something with it. I’ve had a picture frame sitting in my craftroom for the last few months and knew it would be perfect to decorate. So today I’ve created a beautiful decorated frame using Vintage Hollywood. You’ll want to read the tutorial below and learn how to recreate your own Vintage Hollywood Frame at home. " ~Katelyn

Vintage Hollywood is beautiful but just love the World's Fair also, who doesn't remember Cotton Candy, Hot Dogs, and all the other great food. The big wheel in the sky, or all the new inventions around the world.
