“Special invitations or special friends and family are always fun to receive. Today I created and invitation using the Midnight Masquerade and thinking I may have to have a party just to recreate the invitation, party favors and other decorations. I love the vivid and fun hues of this collection from Graphic 45.” ~Pam

We LOVE butterflies here at Graphic 45, so of course we are in love with this gorgeous layout from Sandy using Olde Curiosity Shoppe!

Butterfly Layout Olde Curiosity Shoppe by Sandy Trefger Product by Graphic 45 Photo 001

"The beautiful butterfly paper in the Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Deluxe Collectors’ Edition inspired me to create this 12x12 layout page with a photo of my daughter and her husband.  One spring, they hired a photographer friend to take their photos around favorite places in Fort Worth, Texas.  I’ve always loved this photo.  This was a quick and easy layout—60 minutes or less as you only have to mat the photo with some solid cardstock and the stripe paper from the Graphic 45 collection and add it to the beautiful butterfly print.  I then added some lovely flowers, cut outs from the papers and the metal label holder." ~Sandy

Tip: When adding some metal elements to your layout pages, you may find that parts stick up too far for a layout such as this Graphic 45 Ornate Metal Label Holder.  However, it is very easy to gently flatten down the piece that sticks up to make it perfect for your page.  You can also change out the brads that come with the label holder and use the decorative stamped brads from Graphic 45 by cutting off one prong, fastening the remaining brad down on the back and cutting off the excess length of the prong.  You then simply use a strong glue to attach the entire piece to your layout.

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday, Charee!

Two wonderful projects. I have the butterfly paper shown in Sandy's page layout. She has inspired me to USE that paper rather than let it just sit in my stash for viewing! (Sometimes I hate to cut into my Graphic 45 paper!)

Such a cool invitation. LOVE the pull out tag.
Gorgeous layout. The butterflies are awesome!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments and Happy Birthday again to our fabulous Charee!!

Happy, happy birthday, Charee! Enjoy a day that is all about you, and make sure you EAT CAKE! Life is short!

About the projects. I love both Pam & Sandy's projects, but especially love Sandy's. I love the lay-out. Both are very talented women. Keep up the good work!

Happy birthday Charee - same day as mine, only I am a lot older and not so pretty. Hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as I did. x

The colors in Midnight Masquerade are to die for! And I could always use more of Natures Sketchbook. Hint hint!!!! LOL.

Let me jump on the pile by also wishing you a Happy Birthday Charee! Hope it is one of the best. Love the projects shown today, esp. the invitation. Nothing but the best from G45!

Happy Birthday Charee. Hope you have a fantastic birthday. Enjoy your day. Thanks for sharing all your projects!

Love these projects! Both of these collections are wonderful!

First thing everyday, I check this blog. Would love to win this week's prize package. No other blog offers the talent and creation that yours does.
