Layouts with New Graphic 45 Collections!
Happy Monday! You, our G45ers always say you love seeing more layouts. So, we have a blog full of them today! Pam Bray and Kathy Clement use Vintage Hollywood and Portrait of a Lady to make these stunning pages. Take a look at these below:
“When I first seen the Vintage Hollywood Collection I couldn’t help but fall in love with the Epherema Card that said “Shine Bright Like a Diamond”. I knew I need to create a layout using the Epherema Card which I will frame for my studio. It is so inspiring to remember that we are all diamonds, some rougher than others but all being molded each day through trials and challenges. We just need a reminder to always need to let out “diamond” shine.” Hugs Pam
Tip: Fussy cutting multiple layers and placing them on pop dots gives great dimension.
Tip: Adding small metal frames, labels, etc. will help bring your eye to a word, phrase or photo.

Kathy treasures special memories with this gorgeous layout:
"The minute I laid eyes on Portrait of a Lady, I knew I would be creating a project featuring this vintage photo of my mom. This is her graduation portrait, taken in 1939, and I love to see the bright smile, compassionate eyes and hopeful expression that this photo captures. She loved her flower gardens, and I can still see her coaxing them to grow and blossom in spite of the hard clay soil. Pink was her favorite color, so she would have loved the beautiful images and patterns in this gorgeous collection." ~Kathy
Tip: To make my dimensional picture frame, I first die cut a cardboard base from an old shipping box. Then I die cut the top layer from designer paper and glued it over the top, inking the edges to add definition.
Tip: Tear paper to create interesting borders. Tear the paper away from you to avoid having a white edge. Ink the torn edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink to help them stand out.
Tip: Add a personal touch to your layout by including journaling in your own handwriting. It makes the piece that much more precious.
Tip: Add dimension to your layout by backing individual layers with foam dimensionals.
Tip: If your flowers are not a perfect color match for a collection, you can customize them quickly and easily with mists and sprays. Add a little at a time until you have achieved the desired effect.
Tip: I threaded my vintage lace (from my Mom’s sewing basket) with pink velvet ribbon to create custom lace.
