Perfection with Portrait of a Lady
Have you picked up our new Graphic 45 collections yet? Portrait of a Lady, Midnight Masquerade, and Vintage Hollywood are now in stores and ready for you to create with them! Today, Sandy Trefger and Pam Bray share stunning ideas with Portrait of a Lady! We love how many projects you can make with this gorgeous collection! First, Sandy shares a brilliant card set with us.
"I love pretty, romantic handmade cards that can be used for almost any occasion. The amazingly gorgeous Graphic 45 paper collection Portrait of a Lady gives you so many ways to make a set of romantic cards. Wouldn’t these be perfect for Valentine’s Day, and anniversary or just a thinking of you card. I used three different folding techniques to create these cards—drapery fold, accordion fold and triple fold. I like to leave my cards blank with no sentiment so they are ready for me to use for any occasion." ~Sandy
Tip: Enhance the papers you are using on your cards with ribbons & flowers that closely match the color palette of the paper. Also inking the edges of each section pulls it all together especially if you use the vintage Decades inks from Graphic 45. My favorite to enhance their beautiful papers is the Dark Cashmere (brown) color.
Supply List:
Graphic 45 Portrait of a Lady 12x12 paper collection
Graphic 45 Color Box Decades Ink, Dark Cashmere
Lace
Ribbons
Prima Roses & Leaves
Heart Button
Paper Doily
Small Magnet Snaps
Wink of Stella brush pen, clear
We love the layers and details on this gorgeous layout by Pam! What a stunning page:
“Women wish to be loved without a why or wherefore” Don’t you love this thought, I do! At times one journal block can say a thousand words. Graphic 45 Portrait Of A Lady has several journal blocks that do just that. I love the ease of how a layout can come together for the ladies in our lives or even for us.” ~Pam
Tip: Choice a focal point on your layout and then create embellishments that will continue to tell the story of that point.
Tip: To give your layout an edgy look adds metal embellishments and staples to the layout.
Tip: Small paper doilies and flourishes gives your layout a vintage look.

OK, I’ll say it … CANNOT believe G45 allowed such a huge typographical error in its Midnight Masquerade collection. “Savor Life & All It’s Magic” should be “Savor Life & All Its Magic.” No apostrophe.
