DIY Gift Tag, Bag, and Card Set with A Ladies' Diary by Pam Bray
Hello G45ers!
We hope you are ready to party! This post will get you in the mood to celebrate, as Pam Bray shares with us a gorgeous gift bag and tag, as well as a brilliant easel card tutorial. These ideas would be great for invitations, party favors, Mother's Day, birthdays or a thinking of you gift. Pam also shares her tips for fussy cutting like a pro, we have a Pinterest Board share with oodles of tutorials, and it is the last day to enter this week's blog contest so let's jump right in to this fabulous post.
“One of my favorite techniques is fussy cutting. I love how easy it is to incorporate that technique with each of the Graphic 45 Collections. Fussy cutting beautiful paper not only gives your projects fabulous dimension, but also creates unique embellishments that are perfect for each project. The only thing you need is a nice sharp pair of scissors and some beautiful paper.” ~Pam Bray
How to Create a Graphic 45 a Ladies Diary Birthday Card.
With fussy cutting and Graphic 45 papers your embellishment supply is endless.
These flowers have been adhered with foam adhesive, creating a stopper for the easel card.
Mix and Match your stamp collections to create the perfect project. Pam used Graphic 45 - Children's Hour Stamps to create this card.
While you have your supplies out from making a card, take your creativity one step further by decorating a plain kraft bag.
Tags can be a fun addition or a simplified version of a card for crafters on the go. Try using our die-cut tags to get you started.
Tips:
- Using small sharp scissors is the best form for fussy cutting.
- Always move and turn the paper to glide into the blades of the scissors; don’t use a cutting motion.
- Before cutting any of the images or motifs from the paper, trim around the image first to remove excess paper.
- I like to have two of the same sheet of paper so I can cut the whole image from one piece and smaller parts from the second piece to layer together with pop dots.

Sweet Graphic 45 trio! I like how you used smaller scrap pieces fussy cut on a tag. That is one of the many great things about Graphic 45 papers- even the smallest scrap pieces can be used on fabulous paper projects.
