Picture Perfect - Double Layout
By Magda Cortez
"Hi All. Today I’m going to show you this double layout I made for this month's assignment. My daughter got married 4 years ago and I think this is the time to use those beautiful pictures. OH MY! Time flies! It was so fun to make the double layout because it is something I don’t get to do and, believe me, it was a challenge!! I decided to use the mixed media technique combined with the beauty of fussy cutting. I love it and I think it is perfect for this project. Did you notice I didn’t use black? ...I hope you like it!
XOXO" ~Magda Cortez
Tip:
Use unusual elements to give interest to your projects, such as the thread and the metal key I used this time.
Tip:
In Mixed Media, we use stamps to give different textures. This is a great idea and perfect time to
use our stamps!

Cityscapes Double Layout
By Alexandra Morein
"In scrapbooking, as in any other field of arts and crafts, there are things that we each don’t feel quite comfortable doing, since they seem just “not our cup of tea”. Sometimes something leads us away from the comfort zone to which all of us are so used to.
During the DT term on the Graphic 45 team, I have already been challenged a few times to leave that comfort zone and create something new.
Today I am sharing one of those projects, which taught me a new side of scrapbooking. I have never created layouts, and for this month our assignment was to create not a single, but a double layout!
For my project I’ve used the ever-beautiful Cityscapes collection, since the theme of the layout is dedicated to London.
I hope you like what I came up with." ~Alexandra Morein
Graphic 45 Supplies:
- Cityscapes 12X12 Pad
- Cityscapes Decorative Chipboard
