Kit'n & Craft'n: Behind the Scenes at Graphic 45 and LO Magic by Candy Rosenberg

Hello Crafters!

Happy day to you all! We are getting ready for a very big event tomorrow and have been kitting like crazy here at the Graphic 45 offices. We're catching a flight very early in the morning, bound for the eastern seaboard. In the mean time, we're getting lots of kits together for the amazing classes, workshop, and make n' take we're teaching for the 2011 Education & Trade Show with The Collins Group in Farmingham, MA. It is happening Friday, March 25th-Monday, March 27th. We are so very excited to be participating in this event and as you can see, we've been working like crazy to make it spectacular! Here is what is happening in our office right now! After I finish writing today's blog I'll be back to making more kits! This is the view from my desk right now! Check it out!

Even though we're swamped right now, we wanted to give you all your daily dose of craft inspiration. Today's wonderful project was created by Candy Rosenberg. She used our Once Upon A Springtime collection to create this lovely and heart-warming layout. This is such a beautiful piece of art and has such a loving message. Thank you Candy for your great heart and your amazing talent!

Saying Goodbye...Off To College

"It is that time, the middle daughter is off to college.  This is a tough time for my husband and I and when she actually drives off I get this feeling that I will be a basketcase.  I am so proud of her, she is heading for the Art Institute of Portland and doing it on her own, with a little help from mom.  Way to Go, Baby." -Candy Rosenberg

So lovely, and it just tears at my heartstrings as I remember my kids leaving the nest and how hard it was to let them "fly".

How pretty!!

BEAUTIFUL layout Candy! It is hard to let a daughter spread her wings and fly . . . but soooo rewarding!

I love the Once Upon a Springtime collection! These layouts are beautiful.

Looking forward to seeing you at the show in MA this weekend! Anne, yourmainestamper

What a fabulous layout! Just beautiful!

What a tender layout! I have sent my daughter off to college, too, and so I could totally relate! :( It is hard, but it is also wonderful to see them grow and fly. This is my favorite collection by Graphic 45. :D

Wow, what a tear jerker! These layouts are beautiful and the story warms my heart. Thank you for sharing and for the chance to win. I love G45 products and would love to get to use some myself! We don't have a LSS so I do a lot of blog drooling!

awww...what a beautiful layout, love it!!

Beautiful, beautiful heart touching layout Candy! You've done a superb job. Best wishes to your daughter in college.

Stunning layout and such sweet journaling! Gorgeous inspiration. TFS!

I am not a Mother, so I can only imagine how hard it is to send a child off to college. One day, you will be even more proud of her, and so glad you let her flap her wings. Beautiful layout, and the kitted diecut flowers are beautiful.

What a great layout...that was such a tough time. Love all the goodies in the Graphic 45 offices!

Beautiful heartfelt layout! I actually have this line on my desk ready to scrap a two page layout! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for sharing this touching LO. It has inspired me to do a "saying good-bye" LO, as well. Not that my kids are old enough to go to college yet. The oldest just started first grade! However, my youngest is turning three in a few months and is as tall as some of my daughter's preschool friends. I'm, sadly, having to say good-bye to the baby/toddler stages that I enjoyed so much with my children. My husband catches me looking at the babies at church every Sunday! LOL!

it's so beautiful !

Such a sweet and touching layout! Thank you for sharing!

Ooooooooh those kits look interesting!! I love this page layout. The Once Upon A Springtime range is so gorgeous. Fabulous job on this sample I love it!

Beautiful and Sweet layout!!!! The Once Upon a Springtime paper is truly a must have for all paper creator's .....

Candy's layout is as fabulous as ever...have fun at the Framingham workshop...so wish I was attending. xo

This is very pretty and touching. A wonderful treasure for your daughter.

Beautiful layout!!

Oh my goodness! My mouth is just watering at the beautiful stuff on here! The only thing close to being at one of your classes or make n takes would--I guess--be winning a blog prize! Thanks for giving us the chance!
