Pretty Paper Creations: Fond Farewell to Trisha Ladouceur

Hello Crafters!

Happy Friday and welcome to another awesome day here at the Graphic 45 blog. We have some gorgeous crafts to share with you today as well as a winner to our Earth Day Scraps Challenge! Yay! We had a lot of beautiful projects posted on our Facebook page this week and we want to thank everyone who submitted their work. We hope you all had fun making your creations because we really enjoyed seeing them. Our challenge winner, chosen at random is Twyla Davis!  Twyla please email info@g45papers.com your contact information to receive your fabulous prize package.  Here is what Twlya posted on our Facebook page.  "I don't know if this is the easiest or hardest challenge. I of the things I love about your papers is that there really are no scraps. Leftover bits, sure but nothing so inconsequential to truly be a a scrap. So I used leftovers together with other scraps (my black scrap pile), a bit of ribbon I've had for 4 years, flowers (and metal rounds) made from Diet Mtn Dew cans, leftover alpa pieces."

Today we are saying a very fond farewell to Trisha Ladouceur of our 2010 Design Team. Trisha's work was always such a joy to see and we cherish each and every one of the crafts that she contributed as a member of our Design Team. We have a bunch of her new and beautiful crafts to share with you today. Her style is meticulous and fun; loaded with lots of beautiful embellishments and radiant color. She has a true talent for incorporating jovial three-dimensional elements in her crafts. It gives each creation a lively and unique quality that holds your attention and captivates your imagination. It has been a pleasure working with her this year and we will miss her amazing talents.

Have a look at this beautiful Once Upon a Springtime "Dream" card that Trisha made. This is a great example of her talent for creating lavish textures in her work. I also love the beautiful colors in this card. It really is a dream!

Prima: flowers
My Mind's Eye: Button
Tim Holtz: "DREAM" ticket, pin
Glue Arts: Glue Glider Pro, Raise-n's, Micro Adhesive Squares
Jilly Bean Soup: Card Base
Ranger: Forest Moss Distress Ink

We know it's barely Spring, but any time is a good time for a Christmas layout! Here is a wonderful Deluxe Edition Christmas Past layout that also features Core'dinations/Graphic 45 sandable card stock. This LO has such wonderful textures! It's a Christmas miracle!

Here is a wholesome and lovely Domestic Goddess card by Trisha. Yet again you can see the wonderful layers and textures she's created. This card is the perfect gift for any occasion. So precious!

Domestic Goddess looks amazing on this pretty altered heart-shaped box. I love Trisha's use of all the colorful embellishments here. It's so lovely and fun!

Another pretty Domestic Goddess box! Although this one is for trinkets! We could all use a beautiful trinket box, right? Just look at all the lovely details on this box. It's so happy and colorful!

Here is an amazing Renaissance Faire mini album created by Trisha. With its rich colors, lavish lace, adorable tags, and contrasting patterns, this mini is a real gem.

Many thanks to the wonderful Trisha  Ladouceur for all of her hard work on our 2010 Design Team and for today's beautiful creations. Be sure to check out her marvelous craft blog A Moment in Time. It's a great source of craft inspiration! Thank you Trisha!
