Vintage At Heart: A Fond Farewell to Candy Rosenberg
Hello Crafters,
Welcome to our happy blog! Thanks for stopping by and seeing us! Today is bittersweet as we say goodbye to a very special member of our 2010 Design Team, the magnificent Candy Rosenberg. Candy has been an integral member of our creative team and her contributions have been invaluable. Not only is she a tremendously talented crafter, going above and beyond in all of her creative contributions to Graphic 45, but she's become a dear friend to all of us. We are so lucky to have had Candy on our Design Team and we want to thank her for her fantastic work throughout the years. It has been an absolute joy to work with her, to see her creations, and to share the voyage of watching Graphic 45 grow with her help. We are so grateful for everything she's done and we will miss her very much. But we're confident that she'll continue to be driving force in the craft world with her wonderful heart and boundless creativity. So here's to Candy! Cheers!
"I am a graphic designer by day, a scrapbooker and altered artist by night and weekends. I have three awesome children, one of which is in the Navy, a 15 year old shutterbug and a tomboy as my youngest. My husband of 16 years is my pillar and often rolls his eyes when he hears the word "scrapbooking" but he supports me nonetheless. Graphic45 paper had inspired me at a time that I was getting bored with this craft, I could not find anything that I could use to truly show my style at heart and then my LSS called me to tell me about this "new" company and their paper...well lets just say the rest is history." -Candy Rosenberg
The first time Aimee and Diane met Candy was at CHA, she brought a dress form to display in the booth. After seeing this adorable creation, you will understand why Candy soon became a part of the family.
Here we have Candy's first Graphic 45 project, a beautiful Botanicabella dress form. This amazing creation was a huge hit at CHA. It's so pretty and wonderfully fun!
This is a terrific photo of Candy and her husband John dressed in Steampunk attire at CHA! You can tell that Candy is a total artist through and through!
This is an amazing Halowe-en in Wonderland book set made by Candy. They are both so gorgeous and whimsical, with lots of amazing 3-D elements. True craft treasures!
This "Our Family" Transatlantique layout was a gift that Candy gave to Diane, the CEO of Graphic 45. In the photo is Diane, her six children, and her two daughter in-laws . This LO has a permanent place on Diane's kitchen wall.
Here we have a marvelous Communique photo box that Candy made. I love the collage-look of this photo box. It has lots of wonderful antique textures. It's the perfect place to house your treasured photos.
Printers trays are so amazing, and Candy knows just how to make them come to life! This beautiful Steampunk Debutant printer's tray is filled with all kinds of magic: flowers, birds, textured fabrics, and metal gears help make this piece truly glorious.Yet another example of Candy's passion for altered objects.
This layout is just priceless! "Vintage Me" is such a great statement for someone as classic as Candy. Made using our Comminique collection, this LO is bright, happy, and lavishly retro. It's a beautiful statement from a beautiful lady!
Candy has a real talent for creating paper clothes. It's a common motif in a lot of her work. Here is an amazing piece of altered art using Steampunk Debutant. This is a great example of Candy's knack for taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary!
Our deepest thanks to the fabulous Candy Rosenberg for all of her amazing work throughout the years. She really has become like a member of the family and we are honored to have had her on our team. We highly recommend that you check out her craft blog Living the Altered Life. It is loaded with inspirational art, words, and tutorials for you to enjoy. Thank you Candy! We love you!
Thank you all for joining us today. We look forward to seeing you here tomorrow for more amazing crafts and inspiration.

Indeed Candy is a great artist and I am not surprised she is part of the Graphic45 family by now. The "steampunk" look fits her very well !
