Decorated With Love: A Fond Farewell to Christie Bryant

Hello Glorious Crafters,

A very happy Tuesday to all of you! We hope you are having a lovely day. We've got a bunch of beautiful crafts to share with you today from the wonderful Christie Bryant of our 2010 Design Team. Christie has been a member of our Design Team for two years and we will miss her amazing talent in 2011. We want to thank her for all of her gorgeous contributions as a member of our team. We wanted to give her a very fond farewell today and share with you some of her creations. A few of these projects are brand new, and some have been featured in the past. We wanted to share with you a good mix of Christie's amazing talent. We know she'll continue to make wonderful crafts and we are very grateful for all the fine work she's done for us over the past two years. It's been a sincere joy to have her on our team.

Here is a perfect example of Christie's amazing talent. This beautiful Once Upon a Springtime paper flower bouquet combines her knack for color, and texture, with a fun, delicate style.

"This little treasure was created to go inside one of my apothecary jars. I intend to make several more in different varieties. This green and black accent, started with a small foam ball. I made several paper flowers using Tiny Treasures and Enchanted Forest  from the Once Upon a Springtime line. I used a glue gun to attach the paper flowers to the foam ball and also to add the crystal beads to the center of each flower. I finished this little accent off by using pins to attach black tulle. Another simple project. But if you attempt to make one for yourself, I must warn you: it did take quite a while to make all the paper flowers, hence the "intend to make several more"." -Christie Bryant

Below is a great example of Christie's knack for creating amazing banners. This wonderful Once Upon a Springtime and Curtain Call banner has such an uplifting sentiment and elegance. It's the perfect banner for your creative work space!

"This mini "Love to Create" banner is smaller than it appears.  Each section is only 2 1/2 inches high, and 2 inches wide.  My craft room color accents are green and black so I wanted create a simple little Graphic 45 Banner that matched my color scheme. I pulled the green from the Tiny Treasures in the Once Upon a Springtime line and the black is, Leading Ladies from the Curtain Call Line. I simply used my sewing machine to attach the banner to ribbon, added a little trim and the embellishments. Easy-peasy." -Christie Bryant

"I had so much fun creating these little green and black accents for my craft room. Every time I look at them I will think of how much I have enjoyed being part of the amazing Graphic 45 design team and how much I appreciate the opportunity to work for such lovely family company" -Christie Bryant
