An ABC Primer Inspiration From Our Design Team

Hello Fabulous G45ers,

Welcome to this awesome Tuesday edition of the Graphic 45 blog. We have the most amazing crafts to share with you today from Nancy Wethington and Sherry Cheever. Get ready to have inspiration overload! Now that the weather is really starting to get chilly this is the perfect time to start cultivating your inspiration for winter crafting. We love the cold seasons because it gives us a glorious excuse to stay inside and be super creative. We are sure that today's amazing crafts will help give you some great ideas. All of today's creations feature our beautiful collection An ABC Primer. Today you will see some very clever ways to use this adorable and classic collection. First up are these gorgeous altered book box and pencil box by Nancy Wethington. Here is what Nancy had to say about her inspiration for these sweet craft gems!

"A jaunt with friends to Springfield IL always means a stop at a favorite store, Prairie Art Stamps. Terry has a fabulous store filled with all things Graphic 45, a wonderful stamp selection, samples and artful treasures.  While there, Terry was showing us some little chipboard boxes she just got in from USA ArtQuest.  Loved the little book box and, of course, immediately thought of An ABC Primer.  The book box is only  4" wide x 5.5" tall and has loose white papers included on the inside.  I changed them out for a tiny book I had in my stash at home. I thought the pencil box (also from Terry's store), the chipboard book and the little mini would make a cute teacher's gift with included photos of each student . . . school photos on one side of the page and a special handwritten note from each student on the opposite page. The Graphic 45 Metal Flower Staples make cute toppers for the pencils." -Nancy Wethington
