School of Fun with An ABC Primer Mini & Card!

Hello Glorious G45ers!

Happy Wednesday to you all! It's hard to believe that the holidays have come and gone. A new year is upon us and it's full of possibilities. We are thrilled to be bringing you more fabulous craft inspiration today to help get you energized for a new year of creativity! Today we have some gorgeous creations by Gloria Stengel and Yuka Hino of our design team. They've created some absolutely stunning creations with An ABC Primer. There are so many ways to create marvelous projects with An ABC Primer. The vintage school-house imagery and color pallet is so fun and versatile! Today you'll see a fabulous variety of ideas from Gloria and Yuka. There's even a wonderful video that Yuka created that shares some great tips on how she made her beautiful ABC Primer card. Yes, there's lots of fun in store for today. So let's get started!

First up is this amazing ABC Primer mini album by Gloria Stengel. This album is so fun and striking! Every page is its own unique statement. Here is what Gloria had to say about the inspiration behind this one-of-a-kind creation!

"I wanted to create a mini album that was easy to duplicate, visually interesting, and could hold photos for the elementary school years. This funky little book from Kaisercraft fit the bill. Each page is covered with Graphic45 An ABC Primer papers. The book is bound with rings, making it easy to add other pages, if you wish. The printed twill adds another layer of interest to this cute little mini!" -Gloria Stengel

LOVE that mini album!!! Thanks for the tutorial as well. Great ideas. That's why I love this blog!

superbe cette album

I have a question about Yuka's flower. After she tore the strip but before she folded it, how was it marked (I could see lines) so that she knew where to fold it along the strip. Fascinating!

I am looking forward to the birth of my first child this year! I love the School Fun idea...I will have to do one for my child!

I'm looking forward to using all of my craft items to make nice gifts like you show each day.

I want to keep my craft room more organized so I will know how to find all of the goodies I have bought. Thanks for showing us your project up CLOSE. I saw that you sand your edges sort of roughly, and I like it.

Love those papers but I can not get them here : (

Very very interesting.. Loved the flower tutorial.. I have the same question as Mary has, but I am thinking of playing around and make the same kinda flower.. Loved it..

Oh my I love love love the album, how fun!!!!

I'm looking forward to my first visit of the year to my local Archiver's to get some of the new G45 designs (and more of some older ones!). Now that the holidays are over I have time once again to look at the Design Team's offerings daily and get inspired!

I just LOVE that mini album! Primer is my favorite of your current collections, so these were great projects to see. Thanks!

What a great video/idea! Thanks. I am looking forward to finishing one album, a wall hanging, and decorating one bathroom with a papercraft of some sort...can hardly wait to get some ideas from here.

The card and album are so awesome. I am hurrying off to try my hand at the card! Want to work with travelogue also. Decisions, Decisions!!!!

The mini album is incredible. I love it (and I think I could do it myself too!!!) thanks

mary puskar, Jeyatha,

Thanks for your question.
The pleats do not have to be perfect. I just marked the stripes to demonstrate how I folded the stripes.
Just place some marks like I did if it's difficult to fold:)
