A Celebration of Cards With Graphic 45: Day 3!

Hello G45ers!

Welcome to another marvelous day of crafting goodness here at Graphic 45! We are so pleased that you have stopped by our blog today. We have some extra special and inspiring card creations that are sure to brighten your Wednesday! As you may know this week is totally devoted to our love for cards. Our design team has created a gorgeous variety of all-occasions cards that are full of beauty and wonder! Today we have a special variety of beautiful cards by Yuka Hino and Gloria Stengel and a guest designer Sabrina Radeck. These cards feature our exhilarating collections Olde Curiosity Shoppe and Steampunk Debutante! You are going to love the vibrant and eclectic look of this incredible new collection! Today's cards are out of the world! So lets get to it!

Okay now it's time for some marvelous card inspiration! We are having the best time celebrating cards with you this week! This first card was created by Yuka Hino using Olde Curiosity Shoppe. The lavish colors and intricate details of this card are just stunning! This card is so unique and perfect for any occasion. The beautiful blend of patterns, colors and embellishments makes this card a one-of-a-kind statement of joy!

Next up is this beautiful Steampunk Debutante and Olde Curiosity Shoppe card by Gloria Stengel. This card utilzines the fun theme of gears and clocks which is an image that we love here at Graphic 45! You can see how easy it is to make a beautiful card by layering our lovely papers, adding some pretty embellishments and a simple sentiment. Gloria added the word "Explore" to capture the carefree and whimsical spirit of Steampunk Debutante! So pretty!

Next up is another gorgeous card by Gloria Stengel. This one utilizes Olde Curiosity Shoppe and lots of beautiful Imaginarium Designs chipboards. There is a lot of wonderful depth and vintage charm in this fabulous card. It is always a good time to surprise a loved one with a lovely card like this! Here are some helpful tips from Gloria on how to recreate this fabulous card!

Techniques:
1. Spray steampunk clock and small clock face chipboard with glitter mist.
2. Paint birdcage and butterfly with metallic acrylic paint.

Last, but certainly not least a beautiful Olde Curiosity Shoppe card by Sabrina Radeck.  Sabrina has uploaded nine different cards using Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection on our Ning site.  Each one holds so much beauty and inspiration.  The featured card by Sabrina is using the Optical Oddities paper as the backdrop, and element from Mercurial Masterpiece, and Butterfly Specifics have been fussy cut out and layered to give this card such style and grace.

I have never commented on a card before but Sabrina's card is just so pretty without a lot of different colors. I love color - all colors and have a hard time not using lots of color but this card really grabbed my attention. Thanks for the inspiration.
