Layouts are such a wonderful art-form. Starting with a fantastic photo is a great way to let your inspiration unfold! You can build your layout around the happy sentiments of your central image! Here is a great example of a warm-hearted layout by Melanie Forbes! Melanie used our beautiful new collection Olde Curiosity Shoppe for this gorgeous LO. There is a lot of love in this layout and it shows! Here is what Melanie had to say about it!

"Just loving this new range!!! This Layout was created using a lot of the little scraps I had left lying on my desk from a few days worth of playing…. Of course I had to use the peacock feather as a highlight!! The colours are so rich and vibrant!! Just perfect for a tween photo!!" -Melanie Forbes

Next up is another beautiful Olde Curiosity Shoppe layout! This one was created by Nancy Wethington. Nancy was inspired by the fantastic mini series Downton Abbey when she created this layout. Downton Abby has been a huge hit in the Graphic 45 family. In fact it has been a major source of inspiration as we dream up new ideas for collections. This show has some serious style! Last weekend we even did a photo shoot that was inspired by Downton Abby! Yeah, we love this show! Check out this wonderful layout in which Nancy totally adopts the gorgeous style of one of our favorite shows!

Next we have a stunning and adorable Little Darlings layout by Tara Orr. This bright and cheerful layout is full of  inspiration! You can see how well Tara layered the papers and embellishments to give a real three-dimensional look this this LO. Here is what she had to say about the inspiration behind this marvelous piece.

"I had taken my kids to the nature park for the day where we were to feed the ducks and bunnies. It is a favourite past time of ours and as simple as this activity is, it brings each of us so much joy.  I love to see the look on all of their faces when a duck eats 'their' bread that they've thrown.  They squeal with delight at each of the ducks fighting over every morsel of bread.  Such a sight!" -Tara Orr

And last but certainly not least is this exquisite layout by Jane Tregenza. This LO is a real classic with its brilliant use of our Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection. The central photo is full of so much joy! It is such a wonderful moment to capture in a beautiful layout. Here is what Jane had to say about her creative process for this magnificent LO!

"I love the new “Olde Curiosity Shoppe” papers. This is a layout I did on my husband and son. They are on a ride at Water World (QLD) I started with two cardstocks, the first one was black with an aqua blue cardstock on top. I then put a piece of “Exquisite Motif” which is one of my favourite prints. I used “Olde Curiosity Shoppe" print for the diamond frame, which I double matted in black and terra cotta. Then I layered it on top of “Exquisite Motif”. I place another piece of “Exquisite Motif on top of the  “Old Curiosity Shoppe" paper (I used the reverse side). This gave me a wonderful foundation on which to do my layout. I double matted my photo and added it to the page. I added some brads in the corners. I love adding layers to my work so I added a piece of ”Optical Oddities” over lapping the photo. A piece of “When Pigs Fly” for the title and “Optical Oddities” for the stripes.  I used a penny farthing bike backed with a piece of “Counting Down” I used a staples brad from Graphic 45 to attach it to the page . The chipboard title, boarder, flourish, bike and clock is all from Imaginarium Designs. I love all the strong colours in the layout. Even though the prints look floral, the page is still masculine and suits my boys perfectly." -Jane Tregenza
