Hello G45ers,

Happy Friday and welcome to our blog on this fine day! We are so pleased you are joining us. We have lots of treats in store for you today. We are in the process of transitioning to our new 2012 design team and we wanted to take some time to say farewell to some of our beloved 2011 design team members. Today we're celebrating the incredible work of Jack & Cat Curio. You will see some of Jack & Cat's best Graphic 45 creations today and get a mega dose of inspiration for your weekend. Plus we have a winner to announce for this week's blog contest and a special video from one of our new 2012 design team members, Arlene Cuevas. So lets get this show on the road!

First we want to announce the winner of this week's blog contest. Chosen at random from this week's blog and Facebook comments, this week's winner is...

-Debbie Eslinger

Here was Debbie's comment from our Facebook page about her favorite handmade gift idea. "I have made several wall hangings for my mother and dad, two of them have they pictures incorporated into the project with ornate frames." Sweet idea, Debbie! Please email us with your shipping information at info@g45papers.com to claim your prize! Congratulations!

Our new 2012 design team has been receiving their first round of packages filled with Graphic 45 goodies and tons of supplies. We'd worked tirelessly for a solid week getting these packages together for them. Here Arlene Cuevas, one of our newest 2012 design team members, takes you on a fun video journey through her design team package. See all the incredible treasures that she got. It's a crafter's dream come true. Check it out!

It is another bittersweet day as we say goodbye to two incredibly talented artists, Jack & Cat Curio. We have been so lucky to have them on our 2011 design team. Their dazzling and eclectic style has been an integral part of our blog and has served to inspire so many crafters, including us! Every time we got a new Graphic 45 creations from Jack & Cat we always knew it would be fantastic and we were never disappointed. Their clever and unique approach to crafting was both refreshing and awe-inspiring and we will miss them tremendously in 2012. But before we say goodbye we though we'd take you on a journey through some of their best work. You can also explore more of Jack & Cat's projects on their amazing blog! Take our word for it, they are two artists that you'll want to keep an eye on in the years to come!

First up is this dazzling Le Cirque altered drawer. This shows the level of detail and imagination for which Jack & Cat Curio are famous in the crafting world! You can see how well they captured the fun circus spirit of Le Cirque! This piece is like a freeze frame from under the big top! There's so much amazing depth and dimension. Since Earth Day is on Sunday we thought this would be an inspiring example of upcycling! So the next time you're about to throw out some old object just image how you could give it new life with some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers! The Earth will thank you!

I really love the new papers, and the design team has created some really fun projects. Sad to see the old ones go, yet looking forward to the ones to see how they inspire us. I love Graphic 45 Thanks for all the great papers & inspiration.

For heaven's sake, Graphic 45 team!!! I have enough papers to last several lifetimes and have made a solemn vow to NOT purchase any more...and then along comes Happy Haunting. I can't stand it! I NEED it all! The colors, the graphics - all incredible. Hopefully, I'll WIN some and won't have to break my self-imposed 'no more papers' rule. Winning them wouldn't be cheating, would it?
You are the BEST! I'll miss the outgoing design team but look forward to what the new design team brings to us! love.it.all
