"I live in Indiana, about 45 minutes from Chicago. I live with my very supportive hubby, Dave, and our son Quinn. I am a stay at home mom and I have been paper crafting for a little over 3 years. I feel I have finally stepped into my design style and now it's time to get into the action! My design strengths are that I can fit a whole lot of embellishments into a small space without it looking "over done". I use colors that normally wouldn't go together... but when I am done it all matches beautifully. I am shabby chic mixed with eclectic. There is never a loss of mojo when I am designing with Graphic 45 collections. They inspire me all on their own. I do not need to search for inspiration in mags or on the web... just the  beautiful Graphic 45 product is all I need. The colors and the way they carry the theme throughout the whole line is amazing. There are little pieces of gold to be snipped and added to just the right spot in every paper pad. Whats not to fall in love with? I love Graphic 45! It speaks to my soul and I hope that shines through in my projects." Kristin Wilson

Here are the gorgeous projects that Kristin submitted for her final round of the Graphic 45 design team call. This first creation is just lovely! It's an Olde Curiosity Shoppe remedy jar! How perfect! Kristin even made videos to correspond with each project. What fun!

This next piece is so fabulous! It's a stunning card. You can see how well Kristin layers various paper patterns and designs as well as fun embellishments to create something exquisitely unique! This card combines Steampunk Debutante, Kraft Reflections and beautiful Graphic 45 Metal Staples. It's hypnotically gorgeous!

Next up is this Little Darlings altered art piece that is so adorable! You can see Kristin's wonderful eye for color and texture. This piece is so sweet and it looks so authentically vintage. We also love all of those fun ribbons! It's so dreamy!

Laura's work is full of imagination, expertize and beauty. Her blog The Paper Trail is loaded with gorgeous ideas. Laura definitely knows how to think outside the box. Her creations combine a highly refined artistic vision with technical ingenuity. She brings a clever and unique vision to the world of crafting with her hugely popular Ustream classes where she shares her fabulous ideas. Not only is Laura Denison a gifted artist but she is also a warm person who loves to share her passion for crafting with her community! We are so excited to welcome her for another year on the Graphic 45 design team. Please join us in saying hello to the fabulous Laura Denison!

Head shot

About me:  I am a married mother of two kids, aged 11 and 13. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and have lived in the Seattle area since 1989. I have a BFA in Interior Design (Calif. College of Arts and Crafts) and MA in Architecture (Univ. of Oregon). I worked as a Interior Architect in Seattle for over 10 years. After my children were born, I decided to stay home with them and started a business designing and selling quilting patterns. I have taught around the country and on several quilting cruises. During the spring of 2009, my son went through a difficult health issue and I had to give up much of my quilting business. During this time I discovered paper crafting and scrap booking. I felt that I had found my medium! Over the years I have dabbled in almost every craft out there! But paper! Ah, paper is sings to me and I love it. I made my first mini album in May of 2009 (it even had Graphic 45 paper in it!) Since then I have made and designed well over a hundred mini albums. I have become known for my innovative mini album and paper crafting  construction techniques. My background in Interior Design and quilting has given me a strong ability to use color, texture and pattern. I like to think outside the box...but I also say "Keep the box and make something out of it!!" I bring a unique viewpoint to all my work. I also love to share what I do and I am considered an excellent teacher. I teach a weekly Ustream show on Friday nights and Wednesday afternoons with a large audience from around the world  I also sell my tutorial patterns and kits on my website. Since that very first mini album, I have been drawn to Graphic 45 paper. This past year, as a part of the 2011 Design Team, I have not only had a blast, I have stretched as a designer. I am impressed with the quality of not only the design team but with the company itself. That only pushes me to create the best that I can. To date, I have designed for Graphic 45 (hey, only the best!) and for Tim Holtz.

Here is the video that Laura submitted for the final round of our design team call. You can see her impeccable style shine through in each and every one of these pieces! They are super inspiring! Behold the brilliance and inspiration!

We hope you all had fun today getting to know Kristin Wilson and Laura Denison. We are so excited to see what they'll create on our new team! Big thanks to Kristin and Laura for all of their hard work on today's projects. We want to thank all of you for joining us today! Have a great day and we hope you'll come back and see us tomorrow for more design team introductions and craft inspiration!

Happy Papercrafting!
