"Hi there! My name is Susan Lui and I’m from Singapore. I started scrapping a few years ago and fell in love with papercrafting because it allows me to record and preserve memories for my family in a manner that appeals to the creative side of me. I have a fondness for shabby-chic designs with a vintage touch but will frequently venture over to the dark side for a distressed grungy adventure with mediums. I like my projects to have lots of texture and dimension and my layouts frequently end up very three-dimensional because of the mediums and embellishments I use. Aside from papercrafting, I enjoy travelling and photography. My family’s travel itinerary always includes dining at some of the best restaurants and checking out the local flea markets. All documented with lots of photographs of course. I was on the Graphic 45 design team in 2009/2010 and have really fond memories of my term then and am really looking forward to another year with my favourite manufacturer. Please visit my blog at luv2scrap-pages.blogspot.com to see more of my creations." -Susan Lui

"I live in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada with my gorgeous husband of 11 years and our three amazing kids who are the heart and soul of my projects. I am now a SAHM to my precious little kiddos but before that, I worked as a webmaster in the Technology industry for many years. Random Facts about Me: I have a degree in Psychology, a green belt in karate, love horseback riding (although its been way too long since I last rode), I order a grande dark from Starbucks almost every day, prefer chocolate to any other sweet, gave up hope of maintaining my ‘Monica from Friends’ (as my husband would describe) cleaning habit once I had kids of my own, have earned more grey hairs and wrinkles in the past 7 years than I could have imagined and love my family more than anything else on the face of this earth!   I started scrapbooking in 2008. Instant addiction. I love papercrafting! It challenges me, it relaxes me and it lets me escape into a world of creativity that I adore. I love to explore different techniques and styles but I feel most natural working with a shabby chic genre with lots of distressing! I am so honoured to have the opportunity to design with Graphic 45 for another year!  If you want to take a peek at some of my work, please stop by my blog for a visit – I’d love to have you!" -Tara Orr

Her stunning shabby-chic style really shines!

Awestruck!

Wonderful amazing work! I have been a fan of Tara Orr for a while now and Susan's work took my breath away. Love that pop-up book!

Fantastic! Tara has caught my eye for some time now...love her use of layering. And Susan? So unexpected! Just fresh and delightful, and so intricate. Wow...we have a LOT to look forward to in the coming year!

Are these designers for real? WOW! I am having a hard time digesting all of the incredible projects that I have seen! I can't EVEN imagine having the kind of patience needed to create like this! You are all truly blessed with amazing gifts!

Congratulation to the new team members; you are certainly deserving to be on the team. Your work and creativity is top notch.

I was going to post in the gallery a project I just finished, but after this weeks introduction to the 2012 team it seems very very poor in comparison. These people(and all of the years past) are ,well, it makes me speechless. Would you ever offer any online classes using the projects? I would also like a Q&A with them. I know their pointers could take me to the next level ( not theirs LOL, too old) but maybe I could tweek a few things. Graphic 45 is the BEST. Lindy

Very creative designers ! This has been an interesting week with wonderful designs.

Okay...once again I've been WOW ... and I can't find words, Susans projects are amazing, love, love, love the detail, and the pop-up oh my goodness!! Welcome Susan!
Welcome back Tara ! Love Tara's layers and fussy cuts and the flowers just so amazing !

I am such fun of Graphic 45! The artists on your design team are so talented! I don't think there are any creations I have not swooned over. I just want to know one thing- I would love to make one or all of the creations, but I am wondering if any of these artists are going to make a tutorial for any of these projects? I would LOVE to make some of these projects. I only see tutorials or patterns from Laura Dennison or Clair Charvill. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

Oh my word, Susan's work is amazing!! I love how she makes it so dimensional! And I have always loved Tara Orr ... her projects are always so gorgeous and tantalizing to look at!! Thank you for sharing with us!

Beautiful.
I am jealous

Susan, loved the camera especially. I would love tutorials on some of these. Will those be available? I don't even know where to begin, you ladies are sooo talented & creative. This is art!
