Delightful Ideas For Dazzling Halloween Cards & Video Tutorial!
Hello G45ers,
It's Friday! Hooray! We want to welcome you all to another happy day here at Graphic 45! We sure hope that today's crafts bring a little extra joy to your Friday. The Halloween season is upon us and we're enjoying every minute of it! We're obviously big fans of any holiday that gives us an excuse to get creative and eat delicious treats. We thought we'd bring some more Halloween inspiration to you with three beautiful creations from our design team. There are two gorgeous Happy Haunting cards by Tara Orr. Plus we have a followup to a Happy Haunting mini album by Susan Lui that we posted on our blog on October 10th. Susan has made a fantastic video tutorial that we're going to share with you! We also have a blog prize winner to announce today! This day is packed full of good stuff! So lets begin with this week's blog prize winner! Chosen at random from this week's Facebook comments, the winner is...
-Cathy Wright Clement: "Wonderful projects today!"
Congratulations Cathy! Please email us at info@g45papers.com with your shipping information to claim your prize! This is the great prize that Cathy won this week. Many thanks to everyone who left us blog and Facebook comments this week. We have a new blog contest every week here on the Graphic 45 blog so there's always a chance to win some wonderful Graphic 45 goodies!
Speaking of Facebook, we are close to our goal of 15,000 Facebook Fans! We would love if you would hop on over to our page and "Like" us. If you already "Like" Graphic 45 help us spread the love, so we can get the party started. We have five days of contest all planned out and ready to go, we just need to reach our goal. We will be giving away 15 prizes in five days!
And now it's time for some wonderful craft inspiration! First up we have two incredible cards by Tara Orr. She used the Graphic 45 Happy Haunting collection to create these spledid creations. You can see the gorgeous results of layering the different patterned papers of Happy Haunting. All of the papers blend together so well! Tara also added some paper distressing as well as beautiful embellishments like the new Graphic 45 Metal Key Holes. Halloween cards are such a fun way to celebrate this great holiday. Let these cards inspire you to create a special treasure for someone you love! Here is what Tara had to say about this wonderful card.
"I decided to create a layered Halloween Card for my son's teacher. I am totally in love with all the vintage imagery in this wonderful halloween collection! The classic colours are so bold and so striking - perfect for the season of scaring but pretty enough for the most beautiful keepsakes as well" -Tara Orr

You keep posting layouts and designs with Happy Haunting papers but they are no longer available. If you did a second run I bet you it would all sell, people scrap Halloween all year long. So much of the 8x8 pad papers are used but not available. PLEASE, PLEASE DO A SECOND RUN!

Love the cards! What a lot of fussy cutting and layering (I'm still learning how to layer without having a goo \-gob mess). thanks Tara.
And the tutorial is wonderful (love the music!). Guess I'll have to go on the blog to get measurements? Susan's work is always impressive and inspirational!
Happy friday!
