Fun & Simple Graphic 45 Gift Holder Ideas For The Holidays!
Hello G45ers!
Welcome back to another delightful day here on the Graphic 45 blog! We are so happy that you are joining us today! The holiday season is upon us and many of you are searching for the perfect gift ideas! Today we're going to share some wonderful ways to create stunning gift holders! Everybody loves a sweet little gift like a gift card or other stocking stuffers! Why not spruce it up by creating a gorgeous gift holder with Graphic 45 papers and Staples?! Handmade gift holders are a great way to add an elegant and personalized touch to an already great gift! Tara Orr and Arlene Cuevas have created some fantastic projects that are sure to inspire you! First up is this fantastic gift holder by Tara Orr featuring our new collection Place in Time! This is a perfect idea for Thanksgiving or Autumn-inspired gifts! Here Tara explains some great tips for how she created these two little treasures! Take it away, Tara!
This first image shows each coffee holder
without displaying the coffee. For the larger pouch card, I made a
simple rectangle card design first and then decorated the lower half of
the pouch prior to attaching to the card itself.
To give your card a
little wiggle room to insert your gift, simply create your lower half
(the pouch part) slightly wider than your card. Once you attach to the
card itself, when the edges are lined up, there will be a gap/pouch
where you can insert your gift.
I also attached an
additional piece of paper to the bottom of my pouch to prevent my coffee
from falling out.
The smaller of the two gift cards was a repurposed
Starbucks Via holder which I traced onto my patterned paper and
afterwards added some dimensional embellishments to the front and
inside. Such an easy thing to alter but so beautiful when completed!

Next we have another splendid idea for unique Graphic 45 gift holders! Here we have a fabulous creation by Arlene Cuevas that features our Nutcracker Sweet collection. This is such a precious craft, just perfect for the Christmas season! You can see how Arlene used paper layering and beautiful embellishments like the new Graphic 45 Ornate Metal Keys and Ornate Metal Key Holes. Creating gift holders for the holidays can be so much fun! Let Arlene and Tara's fabulous creations inspire you to create some Graphic 45 gift card holders this season! Here is what Arlene had to say about this super sweet creation!
"Christmas is such a magical time of year and Graphic 45's Nutcracker
Sweet certainly brings that magic alive in your paper crafting projects.
Today I'm sharing a Pocket card that I created using the Nutcracker
Sweet papers and A7 Pocket Card die from
AccuCut. With a few of the coordinating Nutrcracker Sweet
embellishments, such as the chipboard tags and stickers, as well as some
Graphic 45 Staples, I was able to pull this card together in less than
an hour! Hope you give one of these a try!" -Arlene Cuevas

Still need to get my hands on Nutcracker. Such pretty papers. Love the gift holders. I'd have a hard time giving them away. I love the papers so much and fear my family would just toss them when they are done.

Great idea for present holders. Sometimes it's hard to wrap something and it would be much easier to give it unwrapped in a pouch like these.

What a great year for G45, so many lovely new paper introductions! I always get many ideas for projects from your talented designers and can't wait to try something of my own. The papers are just now available at my local craft store, I can't wait to see them in person.
