Graphic 45 Altered Art Ideas The Whole Family Will Love!
Hello G45ers,
Happy Thursday to you all! We are so glad you've stopped by our blog today! We have some gorgeous crafts to share with you to help brighten your day! We are celebrating the wonders of altered art on today's blog! We have two stunning projects from Sharon Ngoo and Maiko Miwa! Everybody knows that altered art is fun to make. There is such a feeling of joy and satisfaction from taking something ordinary and turning it into a unique and beautiful work of art! Let today's wonderful crafts get your creative gears turning. What kind of altered art would you like to create? Are there ordinary objects around your home that could use a little vintage charm? Why not dress them up in some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers and embellishments! Lets begin today's altered art party with this amazing Place in Time altered 8x8 Matchbook Box by Sharon Ngoo! You are going to love this sweet creation! It's a Family Mail Box! This is a wonderful way to craft with our Matchbook Boxes to create a darling treasure that the whole family can enjoy! Here is what Sharon had to say about it!
"I like tinkering around with boxes and slicing them up to see what else I can turn them into. So I decided to have an adventure and 'slice up' the 8X8" Matchbook box. I removed the upper half of the outer cover leaving only the bottom portion and decided it would make a cool holder for paper and pencils. The idea evolved from there and so I ended up with a Family Mail Box - a place where family members can leave notes for each other - complete with little mailboxes for each person and a place for papers and pencils too!" -Sharon Ngoo
Next we have another wonderful piece of altered art. It's an altered notebook cover by Maiko Miwa. Altered notebooks are so much fun! They are a joy to create and they are the perfect way to personalize any journal. They also make amazing gifts! Maiko used A Ladies' Diary and some wonderful Graphic 45 Staples to create this fantastic piece. The adorable photographs and loving sentiments only add to the beauty and charm of this altered art piece. Why not try creating one for a friend or a loved one? Take a look at these great photos and dream of what your perfect altered notebook would look like.

I really love your product ideas. As an aged pensioner in Australia I find I use your inspiritations for my gifts but I usually find boxes ect from our local tip shop. I can't afford to buy most of the boxes that you use so pick up whatever I can find.
I made a memory box for an old friend from a picture frame but as I wanted to share with her our own very personal memories I used only things that were of concern to us. I would love it if you would like to see the photo record of my journey to the finished object.
I have a cabinate of your wonderful papers & have used 'Birdsong' to improve a small bookcase to hold my Buddah collection.
I am an avid fan.
Thank you for your inspiration, I love seeing your ideas in my morning e-mails. Thanks Cora.
